📚 Book Review 📚
Another amazing omegaverse from Devyn Sinclair! I absolutely love her brand of sweet OV that includes scent matches (scent-sympathy in this universe), all-in MMCs, and a ton of spice. I found this story to have a little more angst than book three (yes, I read them out of publishing order...) as Petra fought the compulsion to do what was expected of her and what she truly desired.

This book is fast-burn and super spicy with abundant MF and group scenes, growly and dominant alphas, t0y usage, and h0le-filling (lots and lots of knotting – including 0ral). Good Girls and dirty talk, plus four alphas with an c0ck-warming obsession.

I loved this OV and highly recommend it with the rest of the Slate City Omegaverse reads.

The narrator's did an excellent job bringing this story to life in a dual-narration style performance. They were well-suited to their roles.

A must read. You’ll go through all emotions reading this book, but you won’t regret it.

What was not to love? Spicy

OK this definitely has lots and lots of heat. Oh boy does it got all kind of going on .. ohhh laaa ahhh so was not disappointed. I had a good story loving oh my gosh sexy as hell guys bitch stepmom even though that’s not what I go for but it was good and did I mention the heat oh my gosh such fire love the toys.

story is great

Story is great but why do you even list the two voice actors if they aren't going to do all the voices? I loathe her attempt at male voices. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong type of audible? DNF I'm sure the story was there but the narration wasn't.

A wonderful combination of great storytelling and excellent narration. I love this series and hope there are more books to come.

I loved this book so much. The alphas were adorable. It was fun to see some of the characters from book one interacting with the FMC of this book. I cannot wait for the next Slate City book.

The audiobook was excellent! Lessa Lamb knocked it out of the park. Aiden Snow did such a great job with the alphas but especially Harrison. Lessa and Aiden are always a great narrator duo.

AMAZING. what a great story.

It was a tear jerker. Especially if you love animals. There were some spicy scenes in it just like any human alpha/omega story. But the underlying story was good and the narrators were great. I did need to listen to it on 1.2 speed though because it was spoken slowly but that’s definitely an easy fix.

Another great omegaverse book

My second one by this author and I think Devyn Sinclair is becoming a favorite. I loved all the alphas I liked the overall story. The narrators are fabulous, especially Lessa Lamb.

Looooooved this book!!!

I don’t know that I have the words to describe how much I loooooooooved this book. OMG, it was perfect! PERFECT! It has a lot of traditional OV elements which I appreciated, and the characters were exactly what I wanted in this book. All cinnamon rolls, with alpha energy, and a female omega who didn’t even know she needs them. There is a lot going on with this book, and even though the first book in the Slate City series – Knot Your Damn Omega – was also a wonderful book (5 stars there too), I liked that it was different enough while still feeling like part of the series. I cannot wait for the final book to come out in audio (hopefully soon ;)). Lessa Lamb and Aiden Snow slayed their performances. Aiden has just the right amount of gruff and growl, perfect for an alpha, and Lessa’s voice is soft and sweet, but with a sexy, sultry quality to it that fits Petra to a tee.

Petra is the adult daughter of a prominent senator, and is constantly doing what she needs to to make her, dad, her witch of a stepmother, and the campaign happy, all while doing her best to stay out of the media. At a charity fundraiser, she gets her first scent of Cole, and they end up trapped in a closet, and drawn to each other like the worlds most powerful magnet, but all too soon she is ripped away so she can escape from the fundraiser.

Cole is desperate to find the Omega that he can’t get out of his head, and plans to start his search as soon as he is off duty from guarding his new charge. He is knocked on his butt on when he sees the mystery woman from the closet, and as it turns out Cole isn’t the only one immediately drawn to the alluring omega. Harrison, Emery, and Blake, all want to make Petra theirs, but they know she is skittish due to her past, and are willing to wait for her.

Too bad the person threatening her is more than ready to take advantage of the unbounded omega, and promises to do unspeakable things unless the senator withdraws from his bid to run for chancellor. The guys do everything in their power to protect her, but when an unsuspecting person turns out to be in on the scheme, they don’t know if they will find Petra in time.
