Mixed feelings

overall I like the book. however the first half is just kinda slow and depressing and it jumps back and forth from past to present in the middle of a scene/thought making it kind of hard to follow.
hvac and bane are my favorite but I liked all the characters.
it's a good one time listen but not one I will re listen to likely.

I couldn’t stop listening

This book even though it was dark at times kept me interested until the very end. I would love to read more books like this.

it was ok

ya definitely not for me. I did not like the fact that she had issues with Logan and then when the other alphas got involved they treated her like he did. it seemed like Stockholm to me in ways and ya that's not for me.

unstructured mess

i thought this book was gonna be good - I even listened to it for 9 hours. but it just keeps tripping over itself. theres no structure, no time frame, no descriptors. theyve said something will happen in '7' days but theres no clarity on how many days pass by - a total mess. and then nothing is described enough. 7 hours in and i finally got a description of a main character. theres no corelation of location or anything. its as if tons of thoughts were strung together but never connected as they should be. smh. I do NOT reccomend this book to anyone.

Weird voices and more grovel

The female narrator was fine but the male narrator was all over the place. Two of the male voices sounded similar to ones from Chappell’s Show which took me out of the story.

The story itself had potential but was just a little lacking. It felt incomplete almost. The jump from them abusing her to loving her was too sudden for them to still not have really groveled like they should have. Three out of four threatened her, and one was still abusing her up until 48 hours before she had to decide if she wanted to bond with them or not. This poor girl could not catch a break and now is stuck with two guys that have years of history and love each other more than her, one that never wanted her, and one that was fine.
