Someone douse me in cold water, please! 🔥🌶🔥🌶

In book 1, Elliot needs to solve the mystery of her missing best friend, who was a pledge at Hawthorne Hall the previous year. Kingston, Canon and Archer are seniors and rule Hawthorne Hall and the last thing they need is a female pledge messing things up. This dark college bully romance brings all the heat.

This narration pairing was one of the better ones I’ve listened to. Teddy does a wonderful jo voicing all 3 males. He has given each their own unique voice and approach. And boy oy boy can he bring it during the steamy scenes. I’ve also always loved his female voice. It’s subtle and soft without being dramatic or high pitched. This was the first audio of Greyson Ash I’ve listened to and wow she can really deliver. She has such a wide range, not just for Elliot’s various emotions, but for all of the rest of the males. She now is near the top of my list of female narrators who have convincing male voices.

Although this first book centers more on Kingston, we get a glimpse of the other men’s POV in select chapters, to tease us about their own stories. There’s grace in how Leila James weaves Elliot into these 3 men’s lives. She spends the time developing the relationship between them and that’s what makes this unique and believable. In saying that, by no means is this book a slow burn. We jump in on page 1 and it’s a riveting ride all the way through.

And the sexual tension? Oh boy… Most Why Choose/Reverse harem books go head in first or are obvious about what’s going to happen. But in each of these scenes, sexual or not, you’re left with this titillating anticipation of “Will they or won’t they” and you're holding your breath in anticipation. And even if nothing happens you’re still satisfied. And THAT is what makes her writing so unique. These are some of the hottest sex scenes (and non sex scenes) I’ve ever read because of the subtle curious tension that builds up.

So much goodness

I loved this book and can’t wait to start the next one. There’s mystery, competitiveness, scorching hot scenes, and great narration. Teddy is especially amazing in this one!!! I mean he’s great all the time but this one, shoo, he’s second to none!

Surprising favorite

This was a surprising favorite. The character development was great. They were all charming and likable. The story dragged u right in and was very eager to have me continue on with the series.

The beginning

Elliot enters Hawthorne to find out what happened to her cousin/best friend. She endures the bullying from Kingston and the guys in brotherhood. But soon things start to change and their undeniable attraction to each other changes things. This was my first time hearing Greyson and it took some getting used to the easy going voice but about half through I was used to it.

Cliff hanger....ugh!

I absolutely loved all of the characters. My favorite is Cannon..... He is definitely a heart throb. The narration was perfect. Oh my god Teddy Hamilton!!!!! I have to also give credit to the female narrator she did fabulous. The story line Kept my interest.... And very much enjoyed the hot moments.

Love the book and the audio was great to have

Loved it but I do wish the female did a better male voice. It is a bit off putting. Overall I do like it.

This story has started me off onto the Leila James best author rave.
Kingston you hunk of a sexy dude, i am hooked, well i was hooked with cover for starters, I am a bit of a cover slut tho, but damned me to fiery hell cos ones i got started i didn’t want stop.
This book is breath of fresh air, Leila really did an amazing job on the story the angst and THE plot people.
Teddy (i love him) that sexy sexy voice whispering sweet stories in my ear.. ahh man.. and Grayson did an amazing job too..
you wont regret it.. take a try.. totally recommend the read guys❤️

Hot, Mysterious, and entertaining

Teddy Hamilton does it again by bringing to life the men you hate to love and love to hate. I came into this thinking that I wouldn't be able to find anything that would make me feel that giddy feeling that I got from H(a)unting Adeline and this one came pretty close. I immediately used my last two credits to buy part two and three and can't wait to start them.

Absolutely love this book, Kingston, archer and cannon are all hot af and such a strong presence 😛 im new to this author, but now can’t wait to read more of their books☺️
