From the destruction of the ancient city of Troy; we are taken on a fabulous journey, filled with adventure and romance, to the birth of a new, greater city, and at last to the days of glory in imperial Rome. The Emperor's Dream, The Flight from Troy, Aeneas and Dido, The End of the Voyage, Romulus and Remus, The Sabine Women, The Rock of Tarpeia, How the Geese saved Rome.
My son and I really enjoyed this introduction to Roman mythology. It could be enjoyed at different ages though geared to a younger audience. I found it a relaxing way to wind down at the end of the day. Both narrators had wonderful voices; nice British accents and well suited to telling the myths. This covered the Aeneid and the Romulus/Remus and their descendants.
