Plot is well crafted but
Narrator is trying too hard to be droll. Aware of his acting instead of the story. Sing song instead of strong. Otherwise, a pleasant series though not suspenseful nor gripping.

Love the series
I listened to books 3, 4 and 5 one right after the other. The narrator was very good. Each story held my attention. The characters were well drawn. Overall, very entertaining.

Nate Shepherd is a favorite
Love the Lawyer series. The plots unfold well. Thoroughly enjoy the banter between characters and the clever sarcasm. Always well performed. Feel like part of Nate’s circle of friends and family. Great series.

Top notch narration and unexpected ending
George Newbern is one of the best narrators I have heard. He brings the personalities of the characters alive. And they don’t all sound alike.
Not highly suspenseful, but there were unexpected twists and turns. Did not see the ending coming.
