War is on the horizon, and soldiers are bearing down on Vohra. Queen Joslyn means to take back the city, but her reach has far exceeded her grasp, and if she thinks I'm just going to sit back and let her dismantle everything I've built, she'll be sorely disappointed.

Joslyn has no idea whom she's picked a fight with.

But I aim to fix that.

Though getting to a queen is no easy feat, and I'm going to need to call in some favors if I hope to infiltrate her city, let alone the palace. There are favors to call in and debts to collect. A lot needs to be done before heading to Joslyn.

Good Story

Love the story, has good romance, and had lots of interesting scenarios and was a lot of fun to listen to. The voice acting was good and added to the story.

I really enjoyed the series everything about it, Alice became a bit much with all the….umm….love but I still loved the series . I wish we could go more into the story with the last quest! Maybe one day!

Amazing series. The balance in the writing was phenomenal and the narrator was sublime! The novels blend LitRPG the way it should be blended. Just the right amount of action tempered with humor, no OP growth spurts or overcomplicated leveling system, and the MC was just the right amount of confidence without too much arrogance. Hell, I’d have an ale with him! I think the part that I enjoyed the most is the writer wasn’t scared of developing relationships. Often the LitRPG books shy away from character relationships as it is so easy to devolve into smut or the MCs are too immature. These novels were the right amount of romance and intimacy to give the characters dimension without detracting from who they are (assassins) or ruining the book by turning it into smut! Great job! I’m off to the Wyvern Academy next!
