In July of 2016 a plague swept the world, and the civilization collapsed and fell. For a lone National Guard sergeant, a veteran of the wars overseas who had settled down to a new life, the nightmare began on a hot summer evening at the barricades. Orders and chaos, gunfire and being overrun, his unit dwindles away in the face of the infected.

Months later, living in the ruins, the thud of helicopter rotors followed by a crash and the rescue of a downed pilot leads Nick Agostine back into the arms of the US military. From his experience comes the idea of teams, military and civilians experienced in dealing with the undead and barbarism of the wilds. The first Irregular Scout Team leads the way for Task Force Liberty to advance down the Mohawk Valley in Upstate NY, making contact with survivors and clearing out the infected with stealth and firepower.

This is a remastering of the best selling Zombie Killers series, combining the 2017 Dragon Awards finalist "Falling" with book 11, "Patient Zero", placing the story in proper chronological order and connecting the stories together.

It’s a fun listen people. Good guys who are pretty good guys and bad guys who are just bad. KISS

I think people will enjoy this. Especially my brothers who enjoy a laying of the murder-hate on some zombies? What’s not to like?

Volume 1? Victory in my book

So let me get this straight. How in the hell do you write a characters back story to be; I'm made I don't have funding for my research, what can a super genius like me do to change that... oh I know I'll infect my boss with my zombie crap putting the entire human race towards an extinction level event, then they'll have to give me the funding a genius like myself deserves.

Horrible intro

Bit cheesy but good. I liked all the main characters in the story. Could care less on the romance but overall happy with it

I enjoyed

Just a really good story and how mankind is such a creature of habit. Interesting perspective on how it would fall apart and how inept so many educated men and women fall to base behaviors when dealing with the unexpected and unexplained.

I really enjoyed the military perspective.

I had high hopes going into this, but from the ludicrous virus origin, to a protagonist with the most contradictory and foolish decision making (so the plot could happen), I struggled to get through this. I believe these stories were originally written out of order, so that might account for some of this nonsense, particularly since the protagonist references characters not introduced yet. It’s probably better to read them in published order, not chronologically, at least that’s the excuse I’m going with. I’ll try the next book in the series, but this time, my expectations will low, very low.
