Excellent

Really loved this book. The author is adept at developing characters. In only a few sentences he can create a truly believable character that you can really like, or really dislike. The main character Mark, aka Matthews, is one of my all time favorite literary characters. He appears in the very first of the book and I fell in love with him immediately.

This book is heavy on military terms and activities. I believe that military personnel or veterans would be the most likely to love it, but I am a 75 year old non military woman and I loved it - so go figure.

I love a good zombie story

This is a great zombie story. The action takes off in Chapter 1 and the story continues at full throttle until the last page.
The banter between the soldiers is absolutely realistic as are the situations they find themselves in.
The narration is excellent and added to the tale.

hoping for more. i got jaded with a lot of the zombie books flioding audible and this one is. a cut above in my opinion

In my opinion the location

Glad to see a zombie themed book from my home region makes it interesting given I know most the locations they discussed in the books makes it like your actually there with them in the book!

This is most definitely a pretty damn good ZA book with a twist on the usual. Lots of military action which I like and humor throughout. Great narration as well. Nice job Shane!

The authors ability to paint a word picture

One of the most interesting books with a plot line that makes you believe it is possible. The characters interact in a realistic way

Not my usual genre

I generally stick to historical novels but decided to give this a try. Very good storytelling. The author pays close attention to details and keeps his Reader on their toes.

Amazing book, hoping for more

This was an amazing story, realistic and intense. I would love more to be written, highly recommend.
