The sequel to the genre-defining, landmark best seller Presumed Innocent, Innocent continues the story of Rusty Sabich and Tommy Molto who are, once again, 20 years later, pitted against each other in a riveting psychological match after the mysterious death of Rusty's wife.
Rusty is the prime suspect. Reunited with his charismatic lawyer Sandy Stern, he will do anything to convince his beloved son, Nat, of his innocence. But what is he hiding?
In an explosive trial which will expose lies, jealousy, revenge, corruption, and the darker side of human nature, Rusty Sabich and Tommy Molto will battle it out to finally discover the real meaning of truth, and of justice.

Reseñas de la Crítica
"Mesmerizing prose and intricate plotting lift Turow's superlative legal thriller, his best novel since his bestselling debut, Presumed Innocent....Once again, Turow displays an uncanny ability for making the passions and contradictions of his main characters accessible and understandable." Just when I thought the story was surely coming to and end and the case resolved, the story took another amazing turn that left me yearning for a 24/7 nonstop listening event. The courtroom daring of all concerned is masterfully plotted and narrated.
I am betting you won't quite see the end coming. . . even though I can't help but feel chagrined because "I should have seen it coming!" Great writing, great story telling.
This is Terrific Courtroom Drama!

What made the experience of listening to Innocent the most enjoyable?
The fact that the main character would be stupid enough to take another woman's life into his hand by having another affair when the first one caused everyone so much pain. What was one of the most memorable moments of Innocent?
When the computer was opened and the card was viewed.Have you listened to any of Edward Hermann and Orlagh Cassidy ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I listened to presumed innocent and liked it so I purchased the follow up. Both were equally good. Your need to listen the the first one for the second to have the same impact. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I could do that I would have.Any additional comments?
Be nice to see what happens to Nat and Anna. I can't belive that in real life such a secret could be kept.Rusty, don't do it!

What made the experience of listening to Innocent the most enjoyable?
Turow is just a brilliant writer and he understands the human condition. You don't have to have any legal training to feel his passion and his ability to comment on things we all have pondered in the past.Who was your favorite character and why?
It had to be Rusty but the character development for all in the book was just phenomenal.Which character – as performed by Edward Hermann and Orlagh Cassidy – was your favorite?
Probably Tommy. It was interesting how this old prosecutor had changed over the years and I thought Turow made a wonderful example of his integrity.Any additional comments?
It's difficult to quit listening to as the plot development always leaves one to start second guessing their preconceived conclusions. This is one of the very best books I have listened to and Edward Hermann is just fantastic.Probably Turow's Best Yet
