In My Hands

I am 75 and have met a lot of survivors most who would not tell their stories. This is an important book for the education of our young people who may be able to understand and prevent future repeat of WW II crimes. Well done and should be a must read for all schools.

Amazing Book

I couldn't stop listening. She was such an amazing and courageous woman. I am recommending this book to my family and friends. It's an incredible story of survival, bravery, faith, and perseverance.

Amazing!

I have read many holocaust stories and books about World War II. This one stands out as much as anything I have read. This is truly an amazing story and should be required reading in school.

Heartwrenching

Fantastic, Earth Shattering, Moving.... I never wanted this story to end. It was beautifully written and the retelling was beautifully done as well.

Well worth reading…

I decided to read this book after reading about Irene’s story in the news on Holocaust Remembrance day. One thing cited in the news article was that she decided to write it after being contacted by a Holocaust denier. She felt it her duty to begin sharing her painful story so that no one could question the horrors of WW2 - so that others would know how real what so many faced was. The book is excellently written and Irene’s story is truly amazing. Her devotion to helping others and doing what is truly right is an inspiration. This book is well worth the read! An important part of history we should never forget or let happen again.

Remarkable story and heroic young woman

One of the very best holocaust stories I've ever listened to. It might have been written for audience of age 11-13 but as an adult I was absolutely captivated. She and others like her is the reason the allies won the war. I would have loved to have met mrs Irina of Poland. Many generations now exists because of her bravery
