Creepy Thriller With Depth

This mystery accomplishes something many thrillers are unable to do by adding a sense of reality to the storytelling and a genuine expression of feeling for the victims of crime. What's more, the story places the listener in the scary position of suspecting almost everyone at different points in the book. There are so many back stories, twists and dark secrets that the ending sneaks up and really surprises. Unlike other reviews I've read elsewhere, I liked hearing all the personal details of life--managing a farm, complex families, raising teens and the daily running of a flower shop. I thought all this information made the book and the story much more firmly grounded in a strong sense of plausibility. In the end, this was a scary, sad and believable story. A powerful combo if you enjoy thrillers that immerse the reader deeply into the lives of the characters and story as it plays out. However, do be warned--it's creepy.

Fabulous story, great suspense

How many times have you seen something and. wanted to interfere but felt it was none of your business? Read this story to see what could happen.

Good book as well as being impressive narration!

I think that this book is written very well, the characters are so natural and believable. However, I personally am not liking to jump from character to character when reading. It kept me riveted throughout the whole book in spite of the that.

Suspensful and full of unexpected twists

Guys this is one of those stories that make you go “why is humanity so crazy inhuman”??

Don’t get me wrong, the plot is great and the twists are unexpected which is nice, but every single character in that book has twisted and dark mind.

Not very interesting or believable. I have already forgotten the story and listened to it three weeks ago.

Oh man I just wish the narrator would have more enthusiasm and more feeling
But the story itself is pretty good!

Couldn't Read (listen) Fast Enough!

Didn't know if I liked the narrator at first but then she made the characters seem real. Really enjoyed the story :)

I enjoyed this book so much. It was similar to Girl on the Train, but not as gruesome to me. Great mystery and interesting characters.

Wow, I was hooked from the first page to the end, fantastic book, loved it. The narration was excellent and characters brought alive.

A wonderful twist to the story that I never saw coming. A great read.
