Are you interested in writing your own book?

Many of us would love to jot down our fondest stories and our tallest tales to preserve forever in written form. But wanting to do something and knowing how to do it are two different things. This is not a book about sentence structure and grammar, but a book on helping you keep your head in the game once you’ve decided that writing a book is something you might like to do.

In this book, you'll discover:

How to cultivate and follow through on big ideas

What it takes to keep your attention and focus on your story

How to write physically: sit down and write a book, from blank page to "The End."

Do you want to learn how to write a nonfiction book or explore the world of prose?

With chapters that address self-care and staying motivated, her book specifically doesn’t guarantee that you’ll learn how to write a bestseller. Instead, author Lauren Bingham helps budding authors prepare for the reality of the process ahead of them. Her witty remarks and empathetic style gently guide first-timers.

In true “how to write a book for dummies" style, listeners of this book will find:

Steps you might want to take in order to set yourself up for success as you plan your book.

Practical, if not brutally honest, advice for remaining calm and focused throughout the writing process.

The emotional toll editing can take on you, and how a good sense of humor and an open mind can help you learn plenty about yourself while setting your first book up for success.

From navigating the myriad of roadblocks that can occur when making dreams a reality to getting your words to the masses, Lauren Bingham has delivered an informal yet essential look at the writing process for anyone who needs the gentle push of words of wisdom and inspiration.

then this book might help you. Decent piece for clueless, however if you've tried with trial and error on your own, this won't tell you anything new, just confirm what you've tried and / or know already. Oh, and please skip last chapter on resources as reading out links to each resource pained my brain. Just go to accompanying PDF and read that through.
