Short, high level intro to self-publishing

This is a great, short, high-level introduction to self publishing including tips for how to write your book, how to edit your book, where to find people to do the graphic design, and also how to get your book on Kindle, a print on demand book from CreateSpace, and your audiobook on Audible.

The book made it seem like self-publishing is something I can accomplish. It outline things in a way that gave me confidence and direction on how to get started. Now, it's Time to write my book and get it done!

I appreciate that it’s so short

Listened to the book in a short time and was pleasantly surprised at how simple the process seems. It’s a good balance between specific and general guidance that gives me the confidence needed to keep writing my book even when I was feeling overwhelmed.

Moderately interesting book, but it has it's issue

This is a very short book, and focuses primarily on preparing your book to publish and the mechanics of publishing. That said, I found it interesting that the book is only available in Audible and as a paperback - there's no Kindle version. Considering that's what the book is about, I'm confused as to why the didn't publish it via Kindle.

Well worth the price, but it's far from perfect.

Nice review of the publishing process

The book includes valuable information and covers it at a nice rate. It is hard to imagine all the details covered when using an audio book but I'm glad to have listened and have it as a reference as I get my book ready.

Covers all the basics: best for first time authors

The narration is good and the audiobook covers all the main points you need to get your book written and published on Amazon KDP. As you can imagine, the Self-Publishing platform (Kindle Direct Publishing) moves fast with changes nearly each month or so. From this point of view I found some of the suggestions a little old and occasionally misplaced. An updated version for 2019 would be welcome.

Really informative and easy to digest

This book was very informative yet, at the same time easy to digest as an audio version. Sometimes very informative books require you to pen down notes, but this didn’t.

Highly recommended if you are in the process of understanding how to publish your book on Amazon.

Good Overall Review of Process

Well done. Gives a good roadmap. References to URLs in audio format are useless, though.

Just a set of instructions

just a boring set of step by step instructions that could be found on each website. nothing inspirational at all. also the narration sounds like a robot. very boring.
