Can a dream-chasing human and a time-displaced dragon forge a bond in modern Japan?
More than a year has passed since half-Japanese, half-American Yoshihiro Marlowe broke free of his controlling father and moved to Japan to pursue his dream of becoming a theater actor. But he still faces one daunting hurdle: his own terrible acting. After failing 99 auditions, he begins to question whether his dreams will remain just that—dreams.
Just as he’s on the cusp of giving up, Yoshihiro’s life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Tiamat, a powerful dragon and goddess, who has been sealed away for several millennia. She embodies everything he doesn’t—she’s confident, powerful, and utterly clueless about modern life.
As Yoshihiro struggles with his own aspirations, he also takes on the challenge of helping Tiamat navigate the perplexing landscape of modern Japan. Can he leverage his newfound friendship to overcome his doubts? And can Tiamat resist the allure of anime and modern day conveniences, or will she succumb to temptation and become the first dragon NEET?

Oh my dragon girlfriend!

First, the main character is inconsistent and aimless. Good at maths wants to be an actor for petulant reasons. This makes the plot drag him in any want to writer needs at the moment.
Second, too much tell and no show. Instead of alluding to stories that inspired this book, the writer out and out names them breaking world immersion. Why not skip this and enjoy those better stories?

Mc barely feels like a person even a distant rational one
No real progression could be shorten to 4 chapters for all that did happen
White knight tunnel because everyone is just there to harass or be step on By mc to advance his plot
Compression issues: transfer of media losing quality: best example would be hearing the guy say kyacheee or booing (no adult parts just pg13) or a part where they almost nailed it, there are two characters and they are using line/messanger they play the phone message ping sound (great) then for whatever reason decided to say the whole dam user name XX_dangerdingo! readout loud every time
Huge amount of wasted potential one part one character uses their powers to change the weather this gets glance over and moved on this could have been a good part where the character is told that they would not be the one to pay for her actions and maybe we get to see character development but nope. This is the kind of book you can listen to the first two chapters listen to the last one and you would barely miss anything.
Horrible
