Publisher's Summary

Don't kid yourself! Nobody's coming to save you.

Imagine yourself in a shipwreck on a small lifeboat in the stormy ocean. You try to row toward salvation, but every attempt fails because waves and currents take you where they want you to go. Every now and then, the storm takes a short break, and you manage, for a short period of time, to get closer to the coast to save yourself, but, when it resumes, you inexorably return to your starting point or are pushed even further away.

Your energy is running out, darkness is coming, and the hope that someone will notice you is getting lower and lower.

Negative emotions affect your life in exactly the same way!

No matter where you want to go, no matter what your plans or dreams are, negative emotions have control over your life. They decide your successes and failures, your mood, and the people you should or shouldn't hang out with.

Do you feel like you are in a shipwreck in the stormy ocean?

The good news is that all the negative emotions which affect your life depend exclusively on your distorted view of the world and the people around you and can, therefore, in most cases, be resolved quite simply. In fact, the mechanisms that generate worry, fear, anxiety, stress, anger, low self-esteem, and other negative emotions are the same, and it is therefore easy to find a remedy that works for everything.

In this book, you will find out why:

  • You have to stop worrying about improving your life
  • Worry, fear, anxiety, stress, anger, low self-esteem depend exclusively on you
  • Your health and economic situation also depends on your mental and emotional state
  • You have to discern between real and imaginary fears

You'll learn how to:

  • Cleanse your mind of negative thoughts and habits
  • Develop positive habits and thoughts
  • Increase your productivity at work and in your private life
  • Control your emotions to improve social relationships
  • Stop listening to other people's opinions
  • Free yourself from toxic people and relationships
  • Increase your emotional resilience

And finally, find out if it's really possible to achieve "unlimited happiness”.

Now, you have to decide whether to continue reading this book and discover how to turn your stormy ocean into a quiet little lake where you can take a relaxing Sunday trip...or keep waiting, without doing anything, for the storm to end. It's your choice.

The narrator might as well be reading a instruction manual

The information is good but boy.... the way it’s presented and read Is like a YouTube robo voice.

It was ok...

It was an easy listen. Didn’t really have any takeaways. Lots of info I’ve heard before and “how I should be thinking” - but no course of action.

Overall, an enjoyable book!

It's kind of changed my daily life since hearing it. It's so important to know what the heck you're doing and when you're doing it. Staying true to yourself. Sounds deep, but it was a wonderful hear that I look back on from time to time. Love it!

Amazing Book

I’ve hear a lot of these types of mindfulness and self-help books and this one was especially effective. In addition to giving an overview and the “why” of mindful living provide very practical advice for practicing it in your own life. I’ve recommended this book to a number of friends and family members!

Too short and not enough detail

This book didn't really help me. It was quite basic and I didn't feel like it gave any real meaty strategies for dealing with worry when it starts to take over your thoughts.

Big Disappointment

I listened till the end, hoping for at least one helpful message or advise, but was sadly disappointed. The narration is so monotone, I sometimes did not realise a sentence ended and another one started. There are so many mire helpful, engaging and uplifting titles out there. Don't waste your time and money on this one.
