Getting kidnapped and held hostage in a human trafficker's basement was not on my bingo card. Getting rescued by a paranormal being was also not on my bingo card. (Apparently, I needed to trade in bingo cards.) The guy who took me may be dead, but I know there are more people behind the operation, and I plan to shut it down. If I need to get the help of one of the creepy glowing-eyed dudes to do it, I will. It turns out Liam is incredibly sexy and really good with technology, too. He may be great at hacking into computers, but I'm determined to hack my way into his life.

Liam

Ever since I looked into the feisty human that Dexter rescued from a basement, I've been a little… obsessed. Is it wrong that I watch him all the time and hack into all his technology? I'm just trying to keep him safe. After all, he's sticking his nose into some troubling areas, and I can't deal with the thought of him getting taken again. Of course, I offer to help him when I discover his mission to take down a trafficking ring, although my motives aren't exactly pure. The little human attracts me in a way that I can't explain, and my hellhound thinks he's mine, whether he wants to be or not.

Doors are so cute and they’re quick with a good amount of heat and some work behavior. The first book still my favorite, but this one is still good.

Cute

The little kid in me wants my own fluffy fire hound. However the adult me wants the hot fire eyes of the “biped” form. And yet again this not so rural town needs to be real for all my supernatural fantasies!! I volunteer as tribute :).

Liam and Quinton were hilarious. Quinton really was the real life version of a snappy cat😆 Rude was definitely his middle name yet Liam loved his snappy attitude.

I’d say being held against his will would do that to him but nope, he was a jerk by default and he relished on it. It was just his coping mechanism not to let anyone in.

From the moment Quinton was rescued, Liam could feel the pull between them. He could feel Q was his fated mate and would keep him safe at all times.

They couldn’t be more different yet they just fit perfectly. I’m really enjoying this series. It sucks it’s kinda of short but so good.

Such a fun read

Can't decide if I like this one better than How to Flirt... these books are so good. Q and Liam are great. A hellcat and his hellhound. Good storyline, humor is top notch, a great fun listen.
Alexander and Iggy did a great job as usual.

MM Romance – Human & Hellhound – Possessive MC - Grumpy/Sunshine - Found Family – Vigilante Justice - Fucking Hilarious

I had completely forgotten how funny this series is (even though some darker topics are being addressed in this book)! I did a lot of snort-laughing and giggling while listening. Like, when Quinton was picturing Toby as a vampire, dear lawd! 😂

Of course Liam, a hellhound and also a hacker and a stalker, came across as a tiny bit unhinged, but it was obvious that all his actions came from a place of love, the need to protect and deep appreciation. Well, that, and not really understanding the human concept of personal space and privacy.

Besides keeping an eye on Quinton to be sure he was safe, Liam also went out of his way to make sure he was warm and comfortable. I mean, sneaking in the rugs, swooooon. 😍 He was obviously completely smitten and for someone being a wee bit clumsy and awkward when interacting with humans, he was also so very understanding and supportive when it came to Quinton's moods, his trauma and his need for revenge and closure.

Speaking of Quinton, while he had the temper of a feral cat, how he cared for and protected Aiden was heartwarming, beautiful even. I loved how we not only got to see him as hurt, snarky and angry but also as caring and so very considerate. I am a huge found family fan and how all the hellhounds and all their friends rallied around Quinton, and also Aiden, and acted as strong support system and safety net, no matter what was needed, was both wonderful and entertaining at the same time!

I sometimes struggle with Alexander Cendese's narration but his high energy narration and excitable hellhounds really are a perfect match! That said, Iggy Toma did a great job, too!
