FAKE AN ENGAGEMENT TO THE ICE KING TO TRAP AN ENEMY. END THE SHAM BETROTHAL ONCE THE FOE IS CAUGHT. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

If I were mortal, the epitaph on my tombstone would read: ‘Here lies Isla Ríhbiadh, cherished daughter of Fallon and Lorcan, crown princess of Luce, and blunderer like no other.’ Luckily, I’m an immortal shifter sorceress, so my countless slipups haven’t resulted in my untimely demise. Yet.

When my latest blunder lands me in the steam chamber of a very naked and very irritable Faerie king, I worry the pointy-eared Glacin will dispose of my body under six feet of solid ice. Instead, he suggests we get married.

Our betrothal is purely strategic, meant only to trap King Konstantin’s shifter-hating enemies. He’s uninterested in finding love, and I’m uninterested in falling for a man who isn’t my mate. What starts as a friendly ruse soon turns into a perilous game.

One that blurs the line between scheming and desire. Between childhood fantasies and adult realities. Between the Ice King and me.

House of Burning Frost is a tale of peril, passion, and the power of love to transcend the confines of fate.

*This spicy standalone romantasy can be listened without listening to books 1-4, but, for more enjoyment, it's suggested to listen to the prior books.

I really enjoyed this whole series but favor the last two books, and this last book as my favorite. Very talented author and narrator.

Such a great series 👏

Olivia has quickly become one of my favorite writers and this book in the series is just as eventful as the others. The love story is there, even keeping you guessing as to what happens along with story twists and action and even a few giggles. Love the book and the narration was wonderful.

She’s done it again

The story is a perfect ending to a world I am loathe to leave. I will listen to anything Olivia King narrates and I love her as the voice of the FMCs in this series.

The narration is perfect for a great story

While this book is another fun loving addition, I found the plethora of characters too confusing at times, the names, relations, etc nit easy to follow. the story also felt a bit boring n redundant. the male narrators voice was too angry n aggressive for my liking. female narrator amazing as always!!

A good follow up book, but not my favorite.

Yet again Olivia Wildenstein did not disappoint. Great plot, funny banter, challenges the main characters had to overcome... Loved that Isla Ríhbiadh was a lot like her mother making this book very entertaining. Also a great depiction of dyslexia and how family and friends helped to cope with it and provide support.
Fantastic book. One of my favorite series ever!!

Like Mother, like Daughter

This is honestly one of the best series I have ever read, and I really enjoyed the connection between all of the characters. I hope there’s more in the future!

The best

First of all, Olivia King is one of my favorite narrators. She brings any characters to life and a witty, comical female main character is my favorite type. The story was great and it reminded me a lot of Rowan from the Lochlann Feuds. Which is one of my favorite series. I recommend reading both immediately!

Loved it
