Engaging, Emotionally Charged and Excellent!
I've been a horse owner and lover my whole life. This audio book took me through so many emotions as I was brought back to places I had put behind me. So much of what I was listening to was hitting home and I saw my horses in some of these same scenarios. It makes me even more connected to my horse now and gives an eye-opening perspective that horses feel and experience much more than most people care to believe. Loved this, and I'm looking forward to listening to more of Shane's audio books.

Fantastic peak into the mind of a horse
I absolutely loved this book. Such a beautiful story. At first I thought it may be a bit cheesy but something about it captivated me. Suitable for children as well.

A Must Read
I love books, but for some reason I don't have the capacity to stay with them when I "read" them, no matter how good the story. However, I love audiobooks and Amazon Audible! I usually listen to memoirs or autobiographies, but I chose to try Horse Gone Silent. I am so glad that I did. This book was excellent. It held my attention and made me excited to come back for more. I didn't want to stop listening. I was deeply enthralled with it. I listened to the story while walking, so I got to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I could've walked 30 more miles listening to completion but ended up breaking it up in 2.5 days. It was so good, that I could smell the barn and picture riding, as the words described the moments in the book so perfectly. On occasion, I even shed a tear or chuckled. The emotions it stirred in me were real. The author did such a great job, I will be checking out his new release. This book puts you "there" and allows you to see all the "life" lessons that we are sometimes too busy to see and learn. This book is well done.
