A big story full of amazing smaller stories .

This life of a unique and inspirational man is unbelievably believable. My personal favorite sub story in this book was the communication with deer! So interesting!
When he talks about his dad; I wished I could give a comforting hug to the boy inside the man.

couldn't stop listening to this book.

I hope to apply Monty's method of join up one day when I get a horse.

The Life of the Author - Monty Roberts

The narrator did an excellent job. If he had not, this book would not have had it it’s due. The narrator was not distracting at all, but really brought the story to life. The story itself is profound. This excellent narrator does the story justice. please go back and read the narrator’s name as unfortunately, I cannot recall it right now without leaving this page and losing my review.

Incredible life story

Amazing insight on the life of legendary pioneer Horseman Monty Robert's. This is must read book for anybody anywhere that works with horses.

The remarkable insights into animal and human behavior

I was drawn to every word of this insightful man. How at such a young age he noticed such details about the horse and its behaviors. It’s communication with other horses and people and how it changed the way people could kindly change the interaction between people and horses as well as other animals and even other humans. I remarkably moving true story. I would have loved to have personally known Monty as a close friend.

Great read/listen for any horse lover

I thought this book might be more of a didactic read but found the story surprisingly engaging. Monty Roberts is a legend but I knew little of his teachings and less about his life. Highly recommended for anyone interested in horses and animal behavior.

More of a memoir, not a lot of training advice

I was hoping to learn more about natural training, but this book mainly covered Monty's life story. The training technique covered many times was for young, unstarted horses. (join up in a round pen) Not a lot of specifics for any other issue you might run into.

Magical

Any horse lover or horse owner who wants to be the best they can be with horses will be captivated by this book by and about Monty Roberts and his way of becoming partners with horses.
I would have loved to of spent a month learning the horse language from Monty!

It deserves ten stars!

One of the best audio books I have listened to and I have listened to over 1,300. So many surprises in the book. Better than fiction! Many lessons too. Will recommend to family and friends.
