Edge of my seat obsessed

I was in the edge of my seat the whole time, obsessed with this story. The narrators were wonderful, just wish it had been in first person. The narration being in third person with the accents threw me off a little, otherwise it was fantastic!

This is book #2 and you absolutely need to read these books in order. At the end of His to Steal Carl has kidnapped Lana but do you think Marcus is going to let that slide? Of course not. Once he has her his “I’m a man and I’m not going to be tied down” mentality got the best of him and he and Lana parted ways. Lana is heartbroken and Marcus is still trying to be possessive even if he says he doesn’t want to be with her. I don’t want to spoil anything so I will leave it at this. The ending was 👌😏!!
Joe Arden, Gary Furlong and KC Sheridan did an amazing job again in this book. I loved all the accents the three of them performed. Thank you Blue Nose for allowing me to listen to this wonderful series and Autumn Archer for such an amazing series. I cannot wait for Jamie’s book! 🙌🏽😆

Accents and spice and everything nice!

This book was a rollercoaster from start to finish! It is every bit as intense as the first, and will have you on the edge of your seat. This book is fast-paced with plenty of heat. The narration was fantastic with the accents being the icing on top! K. C. Sheridan, Joe Arden and Gary Furlong did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. Very interested to see where the next book takes us!

Good read

This duet is in third person, which I normally only see in fantasy books, so it was definitely weird for me to read that in a romance. I would rather keep that in fantasy books. Otherwise it was a good read. The plot of this book was basically rescue the woman, hide the love he has for her, push her away, and win her back while keeping any other man away from her. He is most definitely the one that’s takes no bull, especially when it comes to her. No one touches her, no one sees her in a way only he does. But he’s to afraid to let her in until it’s almost too late. He almost lost her for good. She is definitely starting to discover her worth and her strength. And once she does, it doesn’t take her long to stand up for herself. And I absolutely love that his chef is her best friend and has her back no matter what. Even if his boss is being mean. This was an ALC I was able to listen to from Blue Nose, thank you for this chance! Narrated by K.C. Sheridan, Joe Arden, and Gary Furlong. Which did absolutely amazing! 5 star performance for sure. K.C. Did absolutely amazing at portraying Lana and the the sweetness that she is, but also the strength and determination she had! Gary did such a great job as Jamie and I seriously think he’s my favorite character haha. And then you have Joe doing the voice of Marcus, the man that every woman wants, he does things to Lana that no one else can, and he doesn’t want anyone else for that. He did such a fantastic job with the deep masculine voice that makes you wanting more. Most definitely an amazing job by all!!

Autumn Archer wastes zero time pulling you straight back into the chaos of Marcus and Lana after that brutal cliffhanger from His to Steal.

The narration from this trio is outstanding. K.C. Sheridan is Irish perfection for Lana, and she did an amazing job nailing Lana's resilience and strength. Joe Arden continued his uncanny ability to infuse every character with depth and attitude, and his Marcus is gritted, guarded perfection. And Gary Furlong?! He didn't have much ability to shine in His to Steal, but boy did he in this audiobook. His portrayal of Carl was so chilling in the very best way. He tapped into that unhinged energy and literally gave me goosebumps.

The story itself hits pretty hard. Lana's journey is rough, emotional, and full of twists. Marcus has a fear of commitment and is very stubborn, but he is also impossible not to love. The side characters are great. Freddy, Jamie, and Emilio all add warmth and humor that balance the intensity of this book. And... I thought Oh this is the second part of Marcus and Lana's story, at least we won't be left on a cliffy for the next book. WRONG... Thanks, Autumn (haha) ... Now I need Jamie's story like yesterday.

If you love character-driven romance with suspense, heat, and impeccable narration, His to Keep is a must-listen.
