Angry mean “hero”
You know a good dark romance when you are mentally begging the heroine to understand his cruelty. Good story, great kinky sex, and some actually well written and interesting mafia plot lines!
Now about the narrator, his tone is unique and very gravely which fits for this story. However personally he speaks too slow for the action of the book. If you have the same feeling try 1.2X speed. Made all the difference for me to get into the story

WOW!
Piper Stone can definitely write an intriguing story! I have gotten where I really enjoy dark mafia romances! The twists and turns...the up and down emotions!! They keep you on edge. You never know what's going to happen next. This story keeps you that way! And Jack has the sexiest voice!😜😍🔥❗

whispers throughout was a bad idea

Enjoyable Read
This is a new author to me. I enjoy dark/mafia romance and this is a great story! I liked the characters and the premise of the story. My only complaint would be it felt a bit rushed. There could of been more in the build up to their love story and more at the end. HOWEVER, I can appreciate it was a stand alone with no cliff hanger! Jack Calihan is AWESOME ....fantastic job and perfect voice for the role!

Great performance by Jack!
Jack has the perfect voice for a tough dominant mafia boss and his performance of Dominic was no exception. I enjoyed the story, the balance between Dom and Caroline. There were times I was cringing a bit, mostly with her relationship with her father and how horrible he was. Dom is a tough made man who takes what he wants and what he wants is Caroline. A good story combined with a stellar performance made this an enjoyable listen!

AMAZING
The narrator totally transported me with his voice, accents, and expressions. I was in the moment the whole time I listened. This couple went through h*ll and back to survive and thrive together, and I enjoyed sharing their journey. Suspenseful, gripping, and hot. Glad I found this author thru this amazing narrator.
