Loved it!!

I love this book and have downloaded the second book and can’t wait to get started listening to it. I can see where it can trigger some people but I felt that everything in this book was put there so that you would know what Fawn had gone through. I thought this book was well written narration was perfect. Who doesn’t love Shane East I think his voice is so sexy. Not only am I looking forward to the second book but I’m looking forward to reading the whole series now.

Almost Perfect!!!

I can listen to almost anything Shane East, his narrating is always as smooth and sexy as butter. Sophia Lette was new to me, but I am now a fan. I’m so happy Shane led me to Nicci Harris, she is now on my favorite author list! The three made magic in this mafia romance. Great character development, what an alpha male. Believable story that you can root for, even with the taboo of the age difference (though I would have preferred less if the “Sir” reference. Spicy chemistry, and intimate scenes I could not do but felt the realness of the moment. I couldn’t get enough of their connection. Hope to see more books from Nicci Harris!! I’m officially on her train.

I was sucked in from the first line! Spice, plot, love... all top notch! I will definitely be listening to this one again!

One of my favorites

I adore this book. Originally read it a few months ago, but once I saw the audio was available, I knew it was time for a reread.

Clay and Fawn are amazing together. I could not put this down the first time I read it and I couldn't put it down this time either.

I'm excited to listen to HPLQ soon. I need more Clay and Fawn.

Wow, the narration is perfect!

This was a ride! This series is meant to read in order so make sure you start with book one for maximum enjoyment. The narrators really made this series. You could feel the pain, drama and chemistry between Clay and Fawn through the great narration.

Worth the credit

Probably one of my favorite taboo romance or age gap trope book. The story is great, cannot wait to read the second!

Shane East is Perfection!!!

Story was very angsty, so many emotions. Trigger warnings aplenty. I don’t think I would have enjoyed the story nearly as much without Shane East narrating. He just does such an excellent job with the full human range of emotions; he is absolutely captivating. Sofia Lette did a great job as well, particularly during the more emotional parts of the story. She really cut my guts out during a few parts!! Eager to go back and listen to the beginning of the series.

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION

I cannot even begin to describe how this book consumed me. It is dark, gritty and raw but the writing is nothing short of a work of art. AND on top of all of that, the narration was FLAWLESS. To say that it was worth a credit is an understatement.
