Nice twist with the order of telling this story

Can’t say much without giving away one of the most unexpected and warming surprises in this highland tale. Can’t wait fo finish the series and read more from this aurthor

Kinda boring 😴

Well…at first I thought this might be good, but around chapter 4, I started dozing off. Heroine was written pretty angry and throughout the story her thoughts and anger became really irritating and made me skip chapters. Until, I could stand it no more and went straight for the last one. What a disappointment this book was. Since they killed off Maddie, I guess Nick ends up with Juliana. Ho hum. Such dissatisfaction with this series. The only great thing was the fabulous narration.
