Publisher's summary

Is the self-talk in your mind harsh? Worn out from constantly beating yourself up? Wish you could get out of your own way and live peacefully?

To accomplish this, you'll need to learn to work with your inner critic instead of fighting against it. This book outlines five powerful and effective ways to heal the self-critical voice in your head so you can start living freely and joyfully.

Life can be miserable with an inner critic. It's impossible to be happy, confident, and have satisfying relationships when the voice in your mind is incessantly beating you up and telling you how terrible you are.

Self-critical thoughts are in reality a symptom of something deeper. In this book, you'll learn to address the deeper issue so you can experience peace between your own two ears.

A self-critical attitude doesn't simply pop up out of nowhere and for no reason. There's a good reason why you've had these thoughts since before you can consciously remember. There's a deeper core issue at play, and healing this core issue leads to inner peace, fun, and the ability to experience joy and greater life force energy.

The five keys in this book work by building upon one another. All of the keys will be useful as stand-alone - however, you'll gain exponentially more by using all five.

It's time find out why the inner critic won't leave you alone and what immediate actions you can take! So, scroll up and select the "buy now" button.

Informative aspect

I believe after several books I have a great understanding of where my faults are. I am now working on how to proceed with this information.

Worth listening

There are couple core ideas explaining inner processes and giving ideas to heal. It feels like very concrete things to reflect on so it is not overwhelming and productive for feeling better.

Super useful

A short to the point book and very useful book, I love this author got 3 of his books and all amazing.

Thank you for writing about this subject, I think a lot of us do not know what lays underneath and what makes us be less than our authentic best version.

Short and sweet and useful

There was nothing specifically new for me, but Nic provides and nice reframe for simple yet useful concepts and practices that make a real and lasting difference.

Freedom for good shame

Nic Saluppo brings a great story and truth how Shame can dominate one cruelly and ruin oneself. He doesn’t clarify how to incorporate shame as a healthy emotion save to do so. Still, it is a good resource to begin accepting the powerful emotion of shame without being controlled by it. Begin by first discouraging abuse and over-reliance on shame, then work with it as a partner, not a master nor a slave.

More than I was expecting

For some reason I wasn't expecting to find a lot of answers from a fairly short book, but it ended up giving me answes I'd been seeking for years in therapy. Rather than being at odds with the inner critic, it teaches you how to examine the emotions that drive the inner critic. It also taught me, for the first time ever, how to actually feel my emotions instead of just intellectualizing them.
