I have been waiting for this book since it was announced and omg it did not disappoint. I am so in love with this book and with Cade. I loved so much how the character's interacted with the reader. I bought this book in audio and pre-ordered the book in physical. I want to own it every way I can. lol This book was truly my top 5 star read of the year ( and the year isnt finished yet ) but I know nothing else I read this year will top this book for me.

superb casting.

it didnt even feel like a book. the narrators put so much emotion and nuance to each line it felt like a movie playing through my headphones. they injected humor, thrill, hurt, anger, betrayal through each words. I listened to this audio book in one sitting! 🌟

I pre-ordered this title quite a while ago, and I’m really glad I did. It truly exceeded my expectations. I finished reading it in just a couple of days because I couldn’t put it down. It was so good—really, really good.

Reader is the love interest. I instantly said sign me up. What I didn’t expect was for this fourth wall break to bring me SO MUCH MORE. This thrilling tale is hot, brings a sense of family you didn’t know you needed. Puts you THROUGH the trauma ring of having messed up parents. While building a whole world that keeps you wanting more. This DUET is beyond enjoyable. But can we talk about Alabaster?! Because he is hands down my favorite character with his kitty. A demon as a cat dad?! SIGN ME UP. A must read.
