Jim Dale's Grammy Award-winning performance of J.K. Rowling's iconic stories is a listening adventure for the whole family.

'You are sharing the Dark Lord's thoughts and emotions. The Headmaster thinks it inadvisable for this to continue. He wishes me to teach you how to close your mind to the Dark Lord.'

Close your eyes and enter the magical world of Harry Potter. In these editions, Jim Dale's characterful narration is so entertaining, fun, and theatrical you can almost hear the crackle of the fire in the Gryffindor common room.

Dark times have come to Hogwarts. After the Dementors' attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter knows that Voldemort will stop at nothing to find him. There are many who deny the Dark Lord's return, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the Dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort's savage assaults on his mind. But they are growing stronger by the day and Harry is running out of time...

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

Jim Dale is spectacular, I feel like I hear each character when he is reading. I think he is the only one ever meant to read multi-character stories! J. K. Rowling keeps me wanting more! While the battle between good and evil grows stronger, as long as Harry's fighting for the good, I feel safe!

Each one is better than the last!

The fact I can get it right away with a lot more to go back and I don't think that is not an issue with a lot more to go back you have a great way of saying it would have a lot to say it was not immediately known if it wasn't even there were a few weeks and months and the first time It

The best book ever written

In the first four books narrator Jim Dale pronounced Voldemort with a silent T. It was strange at first, but I grew accustomed to it fairly quickly. This book, however, Jim has switched to a firm T that doesn't really feel natural. It impedes on his pattern of speech and I honestly prefer the original pronunciation, even if it isn't "correct" or most widely used.

Voldemort suddenly pronounced differently.

I love the books, and Jim Dale, but it does have some very big gapes... A little too big, but I stomach it!
like, I don't understand why they didn't use more potions! [in the ministry of magic}

She does a good job with the small details, but with the stuff that's not in the spot-light, she does a bad job.

Like with truth serum! use it on the people on trial!!! and with the death-eaters, CHECK THEIR ARM!!!!

If you could sum up Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Book 5 in three words, what would they be?

There are so many details the movie captured but of course it has nothing on the book. The book is well written and VERY well read. The reader is extremely captivating. The only thing that bothered me was how he pronounced "voldemort" he did not have the "t" in his pronunciation and that was distracting to me but otherwise a very very good book. He has a wide range of captivating voices that allow you to really believe different characters are speaking!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Book 5?

I loved how different the third task was and the sense of time it took to build it. The movie wasn't able to portray that at all.

Which scene was your favorite?

The catching of "mad eye moody" well at least when someone was impersonating him :D

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved Hermoinie catching reeta skeeta, it was a hilarious part that i wish i could always forget and reread to have another laugh.

AMAZING
