A great back story prequil, with enough action to savor. Interesting and captivating Halo story.

Great freaking book

Seargent Johnson and the master chief are in it will mornings to be said. it might be even better then the first books like the fall of reach or first strike and so on.

Fantastic story

The story was great and details on what went on during missions really paint a picture! Most of the story’s are stellar but this was absolutely perfect.

Awesome way to start Audible

I've always Loved the Halo series and this was a great story of John.

Better than I expected.

I thought this might be a throwaway story since it's set in 2526. But it was really good once it got going. Still manages to maintain tension even though you know where almost all the characters go after this point. And adds very nice character development for most of them. Not required reading, but I'd recommend it if you just want a fun story.
