Master Sergeant Joe Kovach has been through personal hell. His first stop: reconnect with his team of tier-1 Space Force rangers to find the Nightmare Factory—a secret underground research facility that may hold the keys to not just his future but mankind’s as well.
This impossible mission will have him hunting for answers that can rid the world of its mistakes forever—or doom it altogether. It's time for him to take his place as the master warfighter the world needs. His days are numbered unless he can find a way to use his new skills to get out alive.
Outside of a few areas, Earth is quickly becoming inhospitable to human life. Survival becomes a matter of staying one step ahead of the nightmarish horde of biological and mechanical killing machines that are taking over the world. Kovach is a nearly unstoppable force, and possibly the only thing standing up against humanity’s possible extinction.

Very entertaining, lots of action, moves fast.
I listen to audiobooks to stay entertained during my long commute, to stay alive, and not die, falling asleep at the wheel. JK Franks has saved my life, worth every penny, and on to book 2. Yes, I'm still alive, and while I enjoy other authors and other narrators...JK Franks delivers and the performance is really good!

Action, Mystery, and A Lot More
I wasn't sure if I was going to like the book. I almost put it down before the story had even truly started. The begining seemed like it was going too political. Fortunately it was only a small part in the beginning. The rest of the story got better and I really enjoyed it. I will say that I had trouble tracking the different "creatures/monsters" that were encountered. The book ended in a cliff hanger so you'll definitely need to read book two.

I did finish it but it was tuff
The way the narrator whisper talks an shows little emotion is hard to listen to for very long even the most action stress danger battle moments are done in this odd slow whisper style an not just the main character but every person gets the same style it's so strange, the story itself seems good but why was it done this way , I wanted to like it but again it was a tuff listen . One of those books that if R.C. Brey read then it would be a 10/10 ,
