Fantastic book for an amazing series.
Another amazing book in the main series of the Frith Chronicles. This book closes the story and as much as I would like to read more about Volke's personal adventures it wraps everything up nicely. The narrator Brian Wiggins does a fantastic job, and the artwork in the hard cover copies of the book are an incredible touch. The Frith Chronicles is easily one of my favorites and I cannot recommend it enough to people.

Good not great
Enjoyed all these books, but this last one felt rushed. Important, established characters just disappear from the narrative. Lots of telling rather than showing and exposition. Final battle was short. Still worth a listen if you like the other books, but wasn’t the send off I hoped for. Could and probably should have been twice the size or 2 books. Again, not terrible, just not the quality I expect from the series.

Great ending
No spoilers but the ending was just so well done. I’ve been going through this series for years now and I was so worried I’d be disappointed by the ending but it truly was worthy of the series it concluded.

Damn..
I can't believe this series ended, this has been an incredible journey. Following the Frith guild as they tackled challenge after challenge, book after book, I was not prepared for the ending of this beautiful story but I'm happy that I was able to experience it.
I look forward to listening to it all over again when the time comes.
My only complaint was that every so often the voice actor was a bit soft spoken for characters and I missed dialogue. And that the mixed voices were pretty hard to understand with the over flow of sound added to it.
But, no matter what any review says give this series a chance because you won't regret it.
