good book

some what similar to hunger games, but with enough unique difference to make it original.

Serious and tender stirring of positive and negative emotions.

I liked how the main character had to look at what she lost and gained, mostly in relationships. Very good story.

Loved all 3

I lived all 3 of these books. it was hard to turn them off to go to sleep. I stayed throughly involved in the storyline and characters.

Play at 1.2x

Great book! Narrator was a little slow in pace. You can correct it some by setting the speed to 1.2x.

Please don’t change narrator during a series

The narrator changed from the first two books. While the characters are young, she voiced them as if they were small children. Her inflections were almost unbearable. The story was “ehh” but I nearly set it aside due to narration. I finished the series but in hindsight would not really recommend; the entire series could have been made into one extended novel.

Good Read

I enjoyed this book. The author did a good job on the story line. The narrator was very pleasant to listen to.

The story was good

The story was typical of dystopian novels, but well written. Narration was not so great however. The main character starts out at 16, yet the narrator reads as if she's 12. I only continued because my daughter insisted, but overall, not bad for young adult.

5 min in…..

They changed the reader and it is making me soooo crazy! Her voice is not similar to the first two books and she reads choppy and slow! It will be very difficult for me to finish this series!!

More YA dystopia please!

This one ended up being shorter than the first two by a little bit. I loved it, but now am sad that it's over. BINGED, AGAIN!

I am sad yet not sad...cause now I know what happens but now it's over. This is a Trilogy but I wish there was more! The ending was final but also had me thinking "the author could definitely expand on this and I would DEFINITELY find the book and gobble it up. Friends to lovers, hidden enemies, who do you trust, self discovery, coming of age, redemption, DYSTOPIA! 🌶 spice *kisses kissy* teen angst. Characters are about 17. First person POV, I realized I have been leaving these details out recently.

Compare to (but not same as) Hunger Games and Divergent, Maybe a little Maze Runner in there...Such and easy read you will devour quickly and be left with a reading hangover.

Got better and better

I loved this book! I finished listening to it too fast. I wanted more at the end. The new characters were a great highlight to the book. kept you wondering at some parts and I loved that. It kept it clean.
