... simple writing, and feeling. smart because you figured it all out, this book is for you.

A spooky love story!

Though it could be intense this book was intriguingly spooky, while developing an emotional love story between two individuals that had it rough growing up. The twists and turns and secrets revealed made this so enjoyable! I would love a follow up story!

I knew this would be a 5 star read for me within the first few pages. This book possesses everything I now crave since becoming enamored with gothic romance.

It is one of the most visually descriptive books I have read. Absolutely beautiful! Plus the perfect blend of sexiness, intense dark mystery & shocking revelations, keeps you absolutely 𝘏𝘖𝘖𝘒𝘌𝘋.

The love story begins with almost instantaneous, forbidden lust between Corvina & Vad. They both keep secrets… but as they deepen their trust in one another, she becomes his madness & him her foundation: “The silver-eyed devil of Verenmore” is the mountain upon which she builds her castle, without it she crumbles 🥺🫶🏼

Third Person

I didn’t think I’d like a third-person book, but this one was fantastic. The narrators made it really engaging and kept me hooked the whole time.

Terrible Ending

For a book with so much buildup, the ending was really flat and disappointing.
