Editorial reviews

Jack Swyteck is back in this thriller from James Grippando. After swearing off romance, Jack has found himself caught up in an affair with the mysterious Mia Salazar. The only problem is Jack didn’t know it was an affair until Mia was kidnapped and it was revealed that she was married. This is only the beginning of what quickly turns into an intense hunt for a clever and ruthless kidnapper who is haunting South Florida. Performed with a slick and gripping voice by veteran narrator Jonathan Davis, Got the Look is a thrilling adventure full of chilling secrets and hair-raising turns.

Publisher's summary

From best-selling author James Grippando comes another Jack Swyteck thriller, in a series that critics have called "riveting", "a winner", and "lapel grabbing".

In Got the Look, Swyteck is up against a killer who's so fiendishly clever and diabolical that even Jack may have at last met his match.

Jack Swyteck’s new girlfriend, Mia, is keeping secrets from the love-struck Miami attorney, not the least of which is a wealthy and powerful husband. Then Mia is kidnapped by a manipulative abductor who makes a chilling ransom request, “Pay me what she’s worth”.

Now Jack’s the one under the gun, since Mia’s spouse has decided his unfaithful wife is worth nothing. Time is of the essence, and if Jack picks the wrong number, Mia could end up like the kidnapper’s other victims: dead.

So So Entertainment

If you need a thriller to pass the time but can't find anything great then this will do as a last resort. The reader is great, which helps a lot, but the authors story writing skills are very limited, premis not that great, his use a metaphors weak, and his character building is lite and without to much belieaveability. The story is fun on a very lite scale but better known writers have nothing to fear from this competitor.

Just plain boring

In the past, I have loved some of his work . Not this one . Just an another canned plot and event upon event . It barely has a plot, it was merely barely entertaining. Sorry I felt I was just wasting my time. I think I am going to rerun this . Hope the next one is better
