Publisher's summary

"One of fantasy’s best series." —Booklist, starred review

In this explosive conclusion to the epic trilogy that began with Fireborne, Annie and Lee are fighting for their lives—and for each other—as invading dragonfire threatens to burn their home to the ground.

A new revolution is underway, and nobody will emerge unscathed.

In New Pythos, Griff is facing an execution by the dragonborn, who are furious at his betrayal. He has allies on both sides seeking to defy his fate, but the price of his freedom might come at a dear cost. And Delo will have to make a choice: follow his family, or finally surrender to his conscience.

Meanwhile, Annie must race home to hatch a plan to save her Guardians and their dragons. With Callipolis on the brink of collapse and the triarchy set to be reinstated, she may be the one person who can save the city—if she can overcome her own doubts about her future.

Lee is a revolutionary at heart, but now he’ll have to find a way to fight with diplomacy. Going up against the dragonborn court and a foreign princess, he faces a test of loyalty that sets his head against his heart.

As the fate of Callipolis darkens, Annie and Lee must determine what they are willing to sacrifice in order to save each other, defeat their enemies, and reclaim their home.

Very good finale

Great finale to a great series.

-excellent performance by the voice actors
-very good pacing
- great characters and character building
-lots of suspense with good payoffs

-personally I think it would have been interesting to learn more about some of the other cultures referenced within the story. Maybe we will in some spin offs or other stories.

-highly recommend this series if you enjoy fantasy, romance, action or any combination of those things.

Good story line

Very good story line. There were some areas that could have gone into more detail and expanded the back stories and given a better sense of what happened to all the characters in the end. Overall it was pretty good.

Well written. Amazing character development. Overall, one of my favorite fantasy series. I’m sad it has come to an end.

I’ve got one heck of a book hangover now

Note to self: When you hit 5 hours to the end grab your tissues, light your favorite candle, hide away from everyone and read. Read and allow Rosaria’s words to flow through your brain and really take them in.

The last time a book has hit me so hard in my feelings I was 14 and had read My Sister’s Keeper. For 3 books you follow these characters and their dragons and you go through all the ups and downs with them and you start to soar those skies and feel their joy and their pain. Rosaria Munda brings you through every ounce of emotion that one would go through if you were experiencing the actions of this book in real time. I won’t be forgetting this trilogy for quite some time that’s for sure.

Thank you to Rosaria and the narrator’s for bringing such an amazing work to life. The story of Annie, Lee, Pallor, and Aela will continue to teach some beautiful lessons for years to come and I hope that all generations to come will see the beauty in this Trilogy as I saw.

Loved it all!

I found these books after reading the Fourth Wing/ Iron Flame books. Wasn’t expecting to like them as much as those, but I fell in love. Didn’t want the series to end. Also, it’s normally taken me awhile to get into the voices for the other audiobooks I’ve listened to, but I immediately enjoyed Lee & Annie’s voice actors. I could listen to “Annie’s” voice all day. Highly recommend this whole series. I got lost in this world and it’ll be hard to find another one I love as much as this.

Production

This audible was conducted so well given the writing of the story. I enjoyed the soft and hard tones when needed
