this series is histerical! entertainingly ridiculous. can't wait for the next one.i did miss the Walter and Carter characters though. Carter had just a few phone calls.

Still Laughing
Sometimes you need a funny story with a little crime, mystery and crazy people and this book has it all. I have listened to all of the Miss Fortune series but this is the first one where I started off laughing and am still smiling a day later. You can listen to these as stand alone's but bet you will go back and start with #1. Fortune and the ladies are on vacation but somehow they don't get much rest or beach time before the dead bodies start showing up. A great listen, many mishaps and well worth your time. Enjoy -

Key to a vacay Fortune style
I personally found this book to be quite entertaining as I have all of the other Miss Fortune books. It was just what I needed to add some levity while recuperating from surgery. I love all of the books in this series & will continue buying them as long as Ms. DeLeon keeps churning them out! Gertie & her antics continue to make me LOL & I feel this is the reason she bears the brunt of the jokes. But she always does her part to help when needed while adding to the existing chaos. Fortune takes the lead & Ida Belle provides the more serious role. So it’s a perfectly matched threesome.

Stop being mean to Gerty!!
Love this series, but the endless making fun of Gerty is starting to come over as just plain mean. It’s meant to be amusing, but it goes on and on! For it to be good comic banter we all need to see flashes of real concern/ friendship/love to make the banter comic. It’s missing that.
Otherwise, I enjoyed it... more of a who-dunnit than usual and I liked the change of location/characters to spice it up!
