Excellent book!

I highly recommend this amazingly enthralling book, and the series in which it is, to those who love listening to well written and narrated historical romance. Enjoy!

My 2nd try...lowered narration by 5%, & enjoyed!

I tried once & couldn't get thru it due to the fast speaking of the narrator. So, I tried a 2nd time & lowered the narration speed to 95% & enjoyed it. I did not give it 5 stars (it may be my age, I don't know) because from beginning to end I never quite understood how the families fit together. However, I did shed a few tears (could be my menopause🙄 or it was just soooo sweet!💞) which in my ball park makes it a pretty great love story. I'll check out the next 1..& know to lower the speed. Of course us older people think most young people speak WAY too fast in general all the time anyway. So if you are 20-ish, you may have no problem with the fast narration. Just remember, you too will be older someday....the romance in a woman's heart never dies, but her ears & brain just may go slower! Sometimes slower isn't so bad...think about it!🤣

She finally finds love

Lady Bell has been proper for so many years and when her siblings whom she haven’t seen in over 10 years show up on her door step she can hardly believe it. She has missed them and also fins out he’s has a 6 yr old brother who know is the new Earl.
When she informs Quentin about her new found family, she must fight the new Marquees (Quentins father) for guardianship.
Lord Quentin Hoyt has loved Bell from afar for so many years and know has away to get her into his life and bed. He devises a plan to marry her so she can keep her family! I loved these 2 characters together in the last 3 books bringing together there own story. A wonderful read where love finally hits home! The narrator was amazing!

It was so good

Made me laugh hard. I enjoyed the characters and neither the hero or the heroine acted too silly for words. I would listen again

Average

I’m not really a fan of stories when the heroine want to act too much like the man. Especially when they think they are as physically strong as a man. Bell had the I can do anything a man can do because I’m rich. It was repeated several times throughout so it got a bit tiresome. The addition of the extra family characters was a plus. I loved Quintin and his friends. And his thoughts about his family gave me a tickle. I just wanted to wack Kitt’s little bottom. The narrator is horrible at American accents. All of the young ladies sound like old uneducated women. Overall I liked the series but there should be a different narrator if there are future books.

Great love story

Great story, lots of funny family situations! Lots of ‘characters’ to help the romancing pair find them selves.

Great story… voice of the reader was a bit annoying at times

Loved the main characters, but there were so many other supporting figures that it was difficult to keep track.
The reader read well but her voice was grating and harsh on the ear, and I couldn’t differentiate the male and female voices at times
But it was an enjoyable listen overall and I would recommend it.

Grace finale to a series

I have listened to the whole series I found it very entertaining.. each of these stories were really good but this was a really great finale to the whole thing. totally enjoyed the book.
