Forgiving is something you do for yourself!

Forgiveness is something that needs to be learned I think because the obvious reaction of someone is resentment. But what people tend to not understand is that forgiving someone is a relief for yourself, it's got nothing to do with the other person. But sometimes ego and resentment get in the way..

Anyway, I definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to forgive and why you should forgive people. This book is a good guide with techniques outlined for you to learn to forgive.

Love the narrator as well, very nice voice!

A lesson we all need to learn

A self-help book on the topic of forgiveness and how it can make your life better. This isn't my usual reading choice but I can definitely see where a book like this would be helpful. The little details are thrown in to help us understand the nature of forgiveness can really change one's perspective. There's a powerful mental health aspect to this book which I can certainly appreciate; we can always use more positive mental health books. If you or someone you know needs this book then definitely check it out because it delves a little bit into the psychology of forgiveness and its effects - something we could learn plenty from.

Awesome Book!!!

I absolutely loved this book. It is filled with so many practical steps on how to make sure forgiveness is apart of your life. This book goes into the importance of why it is important and if you do not forgive all of the negative side effects such as anxiety and even poor digestion to name a few! Absolutely enjoyed this audiobook and for a nonfiction book there was never a dull moment listening to this!

EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!

Wow. I absolutely loved this book. Although I’ve had the DESIRE to forgive and move on, I've been struggling with forgiving someone for quite a while. This book was incredibly helpful! Not only does it cover the WHY it is so hard for us to forgive (which is eye-opening), but it also provides actionable steps and exercises to do as well. At some point in life, we all encounter people we'll need to forgive. This is a great roadmap on HOW to do so.
