An incredible resource!
Alzheimer's runs strong in my family. After years of watching my grandparents suffer from this disease and my father struggling to manage their care, I often thought, how am I going to do this one day? How am I going to care for my father once his early onset Alzheimer's begins?
Well... this book has all the answers. It has taught me how to prepare and navigate myself throughout the process. I feel confident that I now will be able to help my father to the best of my abilities while at the same time managing my own self-care to keep me strong through the process.
It is obvious that the author wrote this book with love and compassion for the matter. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease.

A tough subject handled with great care
Sadly more people are being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I was surprised to learn there were serveal types of dementia. I liked the logicial structure of the guide. It started with how the body and brain was effected, and then spoke of the reality of getting the right support team in place to care for somebody suffering with dementia. Often, it is difficult to face such things as legal and financial planning, and it was touching to note the care in which not just this section, but the whole guide was created.

A must have
As a healthcare provider, I have seen firsthand the impact Alzheimer can have on caregivers. They give all their energy to the person they are caring for and loose themselves in the process. This can be a very difficult stage in life so being informed is the best we can do about it. Several examples of activities were given to improve concentration, memory, critical thinking, to boost self-confidence and give them purpose. This book is a must have for those who are starting the journey of a caregiver as it gives you hope with motivation.

Forget Me Not taught me so much!
Before listening to Forget Me Not I knew very little about Dementia and Alzheimer. This book gave me a better understanding of this disease and all that comes with it. The author touched on areas/issues I would have never thought of - from support groups to how to navigate legal and financial hurdles. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been directly affected by this disease or has a friend or family member who is dealing with someone who is.

Good!
This book is a must-listen since, even if we haven't had a family member suffer from Alzheimer's disease, we just never know. It discusses the range of emotions you could experience and informs us of some possible early indicators. We are learning how to prepare financially from Torri as well. Interesting fact: hallucinations can be a sign of some conditions. wow! I was alarmed when she went into detail about putting safety measures in place around the house to prepare like a huge kid who might easily be wounded there! That must be difficult, which is why I heartily endorse this book!

Great book for anyone dealing with older family me
I got this book and started listening to it since I have lost family members to diseases that it covers. I was surprised at the amount of information contained within this book and the detail that it helped break down different types of disorders. I love the suggestions and how the author laid out how to help care for our loved ones. I just wasn't a fan of how they were referred to as LO during the book.

A helpful guide during a trying time
I really needed this book. We have Alzhiemer's in our family and my parents are getting older. I'm relieved that there are steps laid out so we can make preparations moving forward if one of them starts displaying symptoms.
