Publisher's Summary

What would you do if you woke up young again?

Jason Richards is in his 40s, recently divorced, and hates his job, but all of that changes when he's attacked by a redheaded vampire and left for dead in a truckstop bathroom.

He soon wakes up in a mansion, surrounded by beautiful women and told he can never go home again. More importantly, he finds that his bones no longer ache, he feels amazing, and he looks like a 20-year-old kid again.

That's because he's a Ferin, a Forever Young, gifted with immortality and special abilities unlike anything he ever thought possible. With the guidance of his gorgeous female companions, Jason must learn how to survive in a world with real monsters, find and defeat the vampire who created him, and uncover the dark truth about what it means to be a Ferin.

Great book!

Daniel Pierce is a favorite of mine lately, and this book doesn't disappoint! It's unlike any vampire story I've read, and the fast-paced action and relationships between the characters had me captivated! Highly recommend!

Disappointed

I was so excited to listen to this book. But it was somewhat of a let down, it is a reverse coming of age book for a 48 year old man, who is now a 20 year old boy.

too young adulty

it has good promise but the sex scenes weight it down. the plot makes no sense even though im a fan of slow reveal it feels contrived to bring the mc from one scene to the next and they are long. im ok for sex scenes in a book but keep it short and simple im not going to fap to a dude talking about playing with a girl. gonna refund this.

An absolute thrill

The writing and narration are super fun in this one and I’m loving the storyline. A middle aged guy gets bitten by a vampire and wakes up looking 20 years old. Who wouldn’t love that? The premise and story are just so exciting and fun and I can’t wait for book 2.

So this wasn't a comedy ?<br />

It was a good story, although it could have been longer ( personal preference)

I've never listened to Leo Barnabas before. His performance seems more suited to light-hearted or tongue in cheek comedy.
I don't think it was supposed to be a comedy....?
In my humble opinion it took away from the more action packed and steamy parts of the book.
That said, I'm not terribly bright. Maybe that's how the author intended it to be, if not the production staff dropped the ball.

Wanted to like it More

There is some good creativity here, I wanted to like it more. The Main Character is a very annoying mainer though, and one of the two women with him is down right hair pullingly insufferable. I'm still in to check out the second book, but if things don't pick up I will probably leave it there.

if i was a guy I'd love this book. Soft core porn!

This is more a soft core porn extravaganza with some action on the side. Can't say a lot more then this.

The book might be okay... Can't tell

Unfortunately, the narrator seems to enjoy overacting, and every character seems to have a quasi-country accent. It makes it hard to enjoy the book, because instead of simply narrating and trying to tell the story, the narrator's trying to act the parts, and it's really messing with my ability to interpret the story in a way I find tolerable. In the end, it makes it hard for me to evaluate the story itself.
