fantastic story

I love this series and how it is read can't wait for the next one

Good first book

I avoided this series for a long time, I thought it would be testosterone filled op worshipping plotless book.
I gave it a try because of the authors past series’ and I would listen to Tess Irondale read the dictionary.
I was very pleased with the story and plot. Good book , now book 2

Fun, silly, entertaining

I really enjoyed this book and it fills that fantasy itch in your body without having an overly complex story and characters. simple and enjoyable.

basic power fantasy harem isekai

I listened beyond the point I wanted to stop, because I wanted to give the author the benefit of the doubt but about half way through I had enough.

If you want a basic power fantasy isekai, then this may deliver... but even amoung that genre it's a bit subpar.

Tess Irondale's narration is superb, but unfortunately that only couldn't carry me through the writing. The premise is good, though.

very interesting

I've read Dante King's books in the past and I have for the most part enjoyed them. I've also enjoyed Tess Irondale narration. I think she always does a fantastic job. as for this story I got to say that there were a number of surprises that I didn't expect. overall I enjoyed the story and I'm definitely interested in seeing how it develops. At the time of this review the second book is available unfortunately in ebook form only at this time at least.
