I waited 20 years for this audio version and was not disappointed.

Flint is the best thing Louis L'Amour wrote. The reader did a great job with this great story.

Timeless!

And, about time! I was wondering if there would be more Louis L’Amour books released. I have listened to so many and Flint is definitely a favorite. It was a complete story filled with compelling plot twists and excitement. The narrator did a great job as well.

Love it

My Dad got me reading using these books. He would read a few pages…enough to peak my interest, and then tell me I’d have to read it when he was done. I’m so thankful for these books and my Dad’s knowing how to get me to read!

Memories

A classic Lamour western. He wrote not of just what was but of the hopes and dreams of those who lived through the time. Men and women, good and bad, right and wrong. A bard retelling the tales of his childhood.

Great western story for everyone

I love clean books like this that keep you riveted throughout. The author tells a great story with well defined characters and amazing descriptions of the action. Loved the narrator as well, brought the characters to life in a fun and unique way without being distracting.

Beginner to westerns? Look no further

This is my first real western book experience and it was hands down a great one. I wish I could see this as a movie.to think there are so many interesting stories to tell in the Wild West is beyond me. Well paced, well narrated, and engaging throughout, I was hesitant to purchase but it was well worth it. Not overly long as well. In fact I wish I could spend more time in this book and find out what else happens to flint. Only nitpick is that the change between character perspectives is not announced, it just happens sometimes so I got thrown off for a bit if I missed a switch. Other than that it’s great.

I really enjoyed this story

Quite different than most of his stories. Louis l’Amour is one of my favorite authors.

Excellent work

I’ve never read L’Amour before but always heard that it was great. What I had heard was true and it was even better. I will be reading more of them. Thanks for the excellent reading too!

Spoken so naturally that it's as if he is telling a story from memory. Excellent command of multiple voices.
