Short (but sweet!)

Any additional comments?

This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!

great Yellowrock story

A supplemental story to the Jane Yellowrock series. It is not required reading for the series, but not a bad little story from Bruiser's POV.

Not bad

I like Bruiser despite him being Leo’s. This little snippet was cute but I could’ve skipped it without remorse. At least it was only 69cent.

From George's point of view

Would you consider the audio edition of First Sight to be better than the print version?

Have not read the printed version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of First Sight?

When Jane takes George down.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

Excellent as expected.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Too short to be a movie.

Any additional comments?

Interesting to see from Bruiser's (George's) point of view. Jane gives people nicknames.

Bruiser!

I love the way Bruiser sounds in this recording. I'm a big fan of multi-view storytelling and this short piece does that perfectly.

I love Bruiser. I really wish it was longer than eight minutes. I want hear more from Bruiser's point of view.

Waste of .95

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

New Material and more than 8 minutes of it. Adding a Talented reader.

Has First Sight turned you off from other books in this genre?

Definitely to further audio material from this author/reader.

Would you be willing to try another one of Khristine Hvam’s performances?

Possibly as a character. As a solo reader her voice makes it difficult to follow the story, no immersion, no difference in characters. (ok slight difference for main character, but does not stand out as being a different character unless you are paying close attention.

What character would you cut from First Sight?

I would cut First Sight completely, it was a waste of time and added nothing to further the story or characters.

Any additional comments?

This was a 5 minute re-write of a scene from the 1st Jane Yellowrock book told from a different character's point of view, added NOTHING to the world except the alternate viewpoint character got an erection.
