Awesome Series

The character development was wonderful and perfectly paced through each story. The mates were tailor-made for each other with just enough challenge to make it undeniable. I highly recommend them.

Finally Rose and Ash’s story

Ash and Rose’s second chance romantic suspense tale was the perfect book to end the series with. It had the best balance of love, humor, friends, painful pasts, evil masterminds, mistakes, spice, and big feels. All woven together to make it an unputdownable story. Ash is a phoenix shifter and the commander of Alpha Team, an all shifter firefighting crew. He is stoic and reserved. Rose owns the Full Moon Pub that caters to shifters. She is an empath and can see true mate bonds. Rose’s true mate died 20 years ago before she had a chance to meet him and she has cared deeply for Ash in the 10 years they’ve been friends. She decides she is no longer willing to be alone and asks him to date her and this sets off a chain reaction that no one saw coming. To get to their HEA there will be baggage unpacking, truth telling, and leaps of faith. Plus the help of all of alpha team and their mates. This well written story not only gave us a swoony, heartwarming, suspenseful and spicy love story with three dimensional characters, but it also gave us a peak into the next generation spin off. Yay for more shifter firefighter love stories.

Lucy Rivers did a phenomenal job narrating the stories and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

Loved this series

RARELY am I able to read an entire series after the 2nd or 3rd book, but this series was phenomenal. I can see why some listeners were disappointed in the narrator, BUT I'm not versed in European dialects, so I wasn't that bothered, John Doe's "voice" did irk me a little though. This was not your same old shifter story. What I really appreciated was the culturally diverse characters, the unexpected types of antagonists and the mating bonds between different shifters. Not the same ol dragon or wolf with blue eyes and blond hair. Great series 👏🏽

I LOVE this series and the wild fire firefighters! I cannot wait for the next audio book in the series to come out! I love that the wild fire series has an overall problem they are all working towards. Off to read shifting sands while I wait for the next wild fire firefighters audio book to come out!

Great ending to a great series.

Wonderful story, I'm so glad I found this author. Her stories are wonderful they are funny, romantic and adventurous. To top it all off they have a HEA.
