Publisher's summary

Today, it’s my choice. I don’t want this life anymore. Today, I’m in control.… If I’m not brave enough, I’ll think of her.

When childhood friend Victoria rejects his love, Jeremy takes his life on his 20th birthday.

On his 21st birthday, he wakes to find Victoria holding his hand, blissfully in love with him. Jeremy can’t remember the previous year, but he savors the miracle of waking up alongside the woman he loves.

The next time he wakes, two years have passed and Jeremy is now a spectator of his own life. Victoria has given him a child, but the man alongside her is a cruel, egotistical, seemingly unknowable Jeremy. Is it amnesia? Insanity? Or has Jeremy been cursed for his selfish, destructive act?

This strange, beautiful novel asks an eternal question: What is the value of life and love?

Euphoric story!!!

I loved the book, the story, the lesson learned. I wasn't a big fan of the narrator I felt that in some instances he read too fast or didn't put enough feeling into his part, but the voice of Victoria was perfect he nailed her emotions her voice just not his.

So-So

This was a decent listen though the story gets a little frustrating. I didn't realize it had a religious message until the last 10 minutes, otherwise I probably wouldn't have ordered it. But I'm glad I didn't know because it was worth the listen. Nick Podel is as usual the best narrator of all time.

Aweful

I would not recommend this book to anyone! This book didn’t make since most of the time. I hated the parts when he would wake up & find out how mean & ugly he had been to everyone. Basically his entire life was useless, just like this book.
