Just brilliant!

Oh what a book- I enjoyed it so much and feel a real sense of loss when it finished.
So beautifully read too - which made it so special.

Forbidden love story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I really enjoyed this long audiobook. If you are a fan of a long listen, this is a really good find. Loved the narrator and found the story, though a bit slow at times, really compelling.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed all the different charaters, it was nice having people from different countries and finding out about their customs and traditions. I liked Constance, but really liked the lap dancer charachter the best.

What does Eva Haddon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I loved the narrator. Great voice, I am so picky about who I listen too, it was great to find a new one I liked!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! But it was too long for me to manage that!

blaming others for how we feel.....

Would you consider the audio edition of Constance to be better than the print version?

I love the tones the expression of a brillant readers voice. It allows me to fully relax a feel the story, flow into it with my imagination. If i had read it for myself ,i would have had to engage my brain ,rather deeply enjoying the audio book on a sensory level

Who was your favorite character and why?

constance, the outsider, the black sheep.I always love when a character reflacts on their life and makes peace with themselves and life.

What about Eva Haddon’s performance did you like?

Eva has a gentle expressive voice, which was easy to listen to

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
