Nice intro to a new series -- Max and Sloane

I really enjoyed book 1 of Fear Inc. by Melinda Valentine (new author for me). I liked the suspense/action but wish the storyline about the crime had been developed a bit more. But for a shorter book it worked. I liked the cast of characters and am eager to hear the next books in the series. I loved the multi-cast performance by Connor Crais, Stephanie Rose, Troy Duran, and JF Harding. All four were great, but Connor Crais is why I bought the book. Without him, this wouldn't have been on my radar. For a shorter book, this still had plenty of sexy, spicy fun, an HEA, and a cute epilogue.

Great short story!

A quick story, whose characters pull you in! Fabulous choice of narrators . I hope the others will get their own stories too!

Melinda Valentine is a new to me author. The story was fast paced. I would of liked more of a build up to Sloane and Max's relationship. Performed with a full cast. Connor voiced Max and Winston. Troy voiced Foster and Brody. Stephanie voiced Sloane and Mirabella. J.F. Harding voiced Sloane's boss and Casper. I thought the narrators were fantastic. The ending left me wanting more for the story.

Entertaining

Melinda Valentine is a new author to me, and I am surprised I have not come across this author before. Narrated by Connor Crais, Stephanie Rose with Troy Duran, and J.F. Harding they brought the characters to life for me. When Sloan Robertson witnesses her boss’s murder, Maxwell Fear will need to use all his wits to keep her safe as the hitman continues to hunt for her.
Settling for a cheating boyfriend there were moments when I wanted to yell at Sloane and shake some sense into her. Thankfully she dumped the useless ex and that was her first smart decision.

I had a hard time connecting to Sloane and there were parts of Max’s character that also were hard to swallow; however, I really liked Mirabella and Foster.
There was romance, heat and suspense and overall, it was a good listen.

Heartwarming Love story!!

I truly loved this story and fell in love with the characters! Sometimes people are so meant to be together that love at first site happens and real feelings present themselves.

Max and Sloan both thought that they had what they wanted in life, but they quickly realized after having met that fate has another plan for them.

This story is short but so heartwarming and I didn’t want the end to come! It’s perfectly narrated by several of my all-time favorite narrators, Connor Crais, Troy Dran Stephanie Rose and JF Harding. Chef's Kiss I cannot wait for the next story in this series!

Her attraction to him is making it difficult to control. They are so hot together even when they're trying to keep it professional. I enjoyed the suspense and romance in this book and you can't go wrong when Connor Crais is narrating 🔥
