3 stars was pushing it…

I tried. I really did but calling it at chapter 15. The writing and story line isn’t great and I’m finding it both corny and cringy. I listen to plenty of fantasy books and overall I’m not picky, but the narrative feels forced and awkward. I don’t typically leave bad reviews fwiw.

OMG can these women get more annoying.

Why? Why do we write females so utterly annoying. I cant. She claims to be strong mentally but she is truely the weakest link. You would think she would embrace her newly found bond and try to figure out whaf is wrong. instead we get 4 hours angst. A weak soul for sure. Barely getting theough this. Story would be so much better if her self loathing was kept short.

I tried.

I really did. I'm just not a fan over the narrators. They sound AI to me. not quite hitting the mark. I couldn't finish the story.

I was scrolling around the plus catalog and I came across this hidden gem i love both of these voice actors so that’s a plus , the story seemed interesting and I just don’t know if the books continue to explain what’s going on the her illness, I seen the other books are based on different mates. If so that’s the only down side that we didn’t get that full a story other wise I liked it ❤️
