I sure hope there is more!
What made the experience of listening to Fatally Bound the most enjoyable?
This was just a very good book. Excellent story. Unlikable antagonist with a mission I think anyone can relate to if in the same situation (which I won't spoil). So even though I didn't like him I did find myself wanting him to complete his mission.
Have you listened to any of Johnny Peppers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
The only other books I have listened to Johnny Peppers narrate are the other books in this series and I think he does a fine job.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
YES! But I couldn't so it took me two days.
Any additional comments?
I REALLY enjoyed this book. What is nice about this series is that they can be listened to as stand alone books. I listened out of order and enough of the previous books are covered so that the listener doesn't feel like something is missing. I think of all this one was the best of the series. There is much more character development as compared to the others where there was a good story but not much personality given to the main characters. This book was fast paced, high tension with very little down time. The end is very satisfying and you feel like every now and then there is justice even if only in a book! I highly recommend this one.

I don't want them to end!
Would you consider the audio edition of Fatally Bound to be better than the print version?
Another great performance by narrator Johnny Peppers! I tell everyone I know about this series. The stories are fantastic and the narration brings them to life. Read or listen to the books. They're fantastic.
What did you like best about this story?
This story was well thought out and the pieces fit together nicely.
Have you listened to any of Johnny Peppers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is another great performance by Johnny Peppers.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book bothered me a bit more than the previous books. I would not listen to this one at night.
Any additional comments?
I did not like Wire's character as much as I had previously. She seemed weaker and was less of a partner to Mac and more of a puppet for Sally.

Best McRyan mystery yet
I had never heard of the McRyan law enforcement thriller series by Roger Stelljes until two weeks ago. I have now listened to all five books. All are great law enforcement thrillers. Fatally Bound and Deadly Stillwater are the best. Johnny Peppers narrates all of the novels. Peppers is a very talented narrator.

got this book through Audioblast for an honest review.
I enjoyed it. I had not read any of the other books in the series but that was not necessary..
I enjoyed the main character who is a hard charging cop who has taken a leave of absence to be with his girlfriend in Washington DC. the parts with the relationship was okay but I enjoyed the solving of the murder more.
worth a listen I probably will not go back and listen to the earlier books but will get the next one.

Intriguing & Compelling
Would you listen to Fatally Bound again? Why?
Yes I most definitely would. The drama and intrigue kept me engaged for the whole book and that is not easy to do with me because I need to be engaged from the start.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that this was an extremely well written book that peaked and kept my interest. I was also very pleased that this was a part of a series but I was able to listen to it as a stand alone book as I had not listened to the previous books but will be purchasing them.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did not have an extreme reaction to the book but I was slightly disturbed by it and that is a great thing for me. Very rarely do I find a book that can do that for me. Kudos to the author and the narrator for making that possible.

“This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.”
Mac and company are back at it. This time they are looking for a possible serial killer. The pace is fast even though it took hours to get to the end. There are a lot of turns in the story that weren't expected. I still need to go back to the start of the series.

Pretty good whodunit
If you could sum up Fatally Bound in three words, what would they be?
Intriguing, Intellectual, Dramatic
What did you like best about this story?
Although the story took a while to get moving, there was enough drama to keep me interested.
Have you listened to any of Johnny Peppers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but he did a decent narration.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not particularly, it was a good story.
Any additional comments?
The author was a bit too repetitive, it felt like an episode of Investigation Discovery where every commercial gets an entire recap and you end up with only 15 minutes of meat.

More McRyan!
If you could sum up Fatally Bound in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, intriguing, and interesting
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
This is one of those books you want the story to keep going once it is done. It is a well written story that if you did not know was part of a series, you would still be ok in just picking up and reading without being lost.
What about Johnny Peppers’s performance did you like?
Johnny Peppers did an amazing job of reading this story. He brings the characters to life and keeps the story flowing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Once you get into this story, you don't want it to end.
