Publisher's Summary

Just as this nightmare began, I once again find myself bound, destination unknown. However, this time, my kidnapper is the man who shattered my world beyond repair.

Aleksei Popov - Russia’s number one mobster, and the man I was sold to.

His intentions for me are clear - submit, obey him, and call him master - but I won’t surrender. I’m not like the other girls. Whether that’s a blessing or curse, I’ve yet to decide. The problem is, my disobedience intrigues my captor all the more.

When we arrive in Russia, the rules change.

Saint, the man who was once a sinner, is my only salvation. What was forbidden now gives me hope that there is light in the darkness. He will risk everything to set me free.

But behind these opulent walls, things aren’t what they seem, and when the fine line between pleasure and pain begins to blur, only one thing matters - saving my soul.

I will lie. Cheat. Steal.

I was once an angel, but now...I’m a fallen saint, ready to inflict my own pain and burn this hellhole to the ground.

FALLEN SAINT is a DARK ROMANCE containing mature themes that might make some listeners uncomfortable. It includes kidnapping, captivity, strong violence, mild language, and some dark and disturbing scenes.

This twisted tale is not intended for the faint of heart...it will steal your soul.

"Sinful and compelling, Bad Saint takes you on a darkly romantic, emotionally tense ride that will leave you aching for more." (New York Times best-selling author Elle Kennedy)

Bad Saint is a dark and emotional romance that you are sure to love." (NYT & USA best-selling author Kylie Scott)

"Shipwrecked on a deserted island with a beautiful, tortured villain? Sign me up!" (K.A. Tucker, USA Today best-selling author of Ten Tiny Breaths)

Hop on! We're ridin the crazy train!!

This book, this series, is a ride on the crazy train! Oh my lanta, I might be suffering whiplash trying to keep up on everything. Saying that, I'm enjoying it so much. Willow is strong. She's fierce and is no joke about life. Saint is growing into something more through this audiobook.... they all are realy. They're all growing and they might be a smidge crazy. This is a twisted ride and I'm thrilled I could go strait from one book to the next, I never would have made it if I had to wait.

Review of book 2 and three!

This book starts where the Hero and Heroine are rescued from their deserted island and here is where they start the contest to see who can martyr themselves more. This game gets old, before the end of book three.(which I read since it is not available on audible) In addition, I also find myself getting sick of the Heroine’s lack of self control and absence of a drive towards self-preservation. Willow, the Heroine and Saint, the Hero, have this elaborate plan to get free from their captor and get revenge. However, Willow can’t play a role, to save her life, and she can’t seem to remember who the bad guy is. Apparently, she is warped from her religious upbringing, that she thinks it is her responsibility to save every evil soul she encounters. She seems to think that everyone in this world of crime lords and mafia can be rehabilitated and everyone should just get along. Ok, I’ve gone a little overboard but, this Heroine really irritated me. I did my best to try ignore her shortcomings because I loved the Hero so much and I desperately wanted this man, who has sacrificed his entire life, to save his sister, to get his HEA. Unfortunately, he has to traverse the fires of hell to even get a glimpse of happiness; and then it is snatched away. There is so much tragedy and death, in this book that I have to admit that I actually bawled several times.

There is eventually some semblance of a HEA, finally, but I found myself a bit disappointed that, after all the horrors, death and fear, the author didn’t allow the readers/listeners to share any of the good life with the characters that survive the trip to hell. That’s one complaint I have about most authors, I wish that after we have gone through all of the “downs” the characters face, during a book, why can’t they give us a few chapters to share in a little of these characters HEA?

Even though I could have strangled the Heroine and the Hero’s sister, if they have truly existed, overall, this trilogy was quite an exciting ride and it was time well spent, to experience it.

An ethics prof's wet dream and a woman's nightmare

The title of my review is deceptive; I couldn't love this book much more than I do. But poor Willow has been put in some impossible situations and her resilience is testament to how much a strong female character can make a series shine. The duality of these characters is so intriguing that the ethics dilemmas brought up are fascinating to try and comprehend. The mish-mash of these characters' personalities and their capacity for kindness, cruelty, and everything in between is pure brilliance. Bravo, Monica James. I feel like I'm on a train hurling toward the end of the tunnel and can't wait to get there so my ears can consume the end of the story and the climax that we're all waiting for. The first book felt like a lot of fluff and filler because let's be real, this is a romance series and we all knew Saint and Willow would fall in love so to delay the inevitable seemed superfluous but regardless, this chapter of the story blew me away. I always know a good book by how it affects me; I realized this is an exceptional story when I was actually sad or angry when I heard the narrator talking about a character being wronged or someone finding love in the most unlikely of places. I also had to mention that Aleksi is a bewildering character. He seems the obvious villain to Saint's antihero character, but with the capability to do such violence and damage paired with this inexplicable ability to care for and love others in a way that originally seems incomprehensible... I have to admit that I've started to like him a little. I would even go so far as to say I would love to see him get his own spin-off novel at the end of all this if he can truly change his ways like Saint has tried to do. He's a truly dynamic character with a lot of potential as a protagonist at this point (if he survives the rest of this series). I promise I won't say it again, but this series would be amplified with Saint's perspective on these proceedings and those that will come in the next book but if we don't get that I will shut my mouth and enjoy what I get anyway. I can't wait to see how this all ends and I'm not going to wait a minute longer so I'll just say this: buy this book and you'll be glad you did.

What a ride

If you have not read Bad Saint, book 1, go and start there. These books MUST be read in order.

That said...Oh sweet hell. What a RIDE. My emotions were ALL OVER THE PLACE and now, I am so torn! I can’t say why, but once you read this book you will know.

Holy crap. I could not listen to this audiobook fast enough!!! It was one hell of an intense roller coaster ride, full of ups and downs! So much angst! Ack!

I can’t wait to dive into book 3.

The plot thickens and the suspense is higher than ever!!

My goodness this series is so addicting.
I absolutely love Willow and Saint!
Now I’m Russia and prisoners at the hands of Alec, these two will fight till the end to find their freedom. But we soon find out is that freedom comes with a price and not everyone will make it out alive.
Can’t wait for the release of book 3 on audio. I’m so invested in this story and these characters and love the suspense that comes with it. Twists and turns that will have you guessing until the end. This has been an epic journey where you don’t know who to trust.
New players are revealed and the connection between Willow and Saint will be tested like never before. Will they survive the nightmare or will they accept their fate that the circle has carved out for them! Oh the excitement!! Love it!!
Yvonne Syn has done a phenomenal job narrating as Willow. Her voice is beautiful and holds so much emotion. She’s seriously awesome!!

Fallen and Emotional

This book makes you cheer for the underdog and yet hope she ends up with both men, especial because for her situation it seems like her drama never will end.
