What a ride!

Dark, gritty and dangerous, this book checks all the boxes when it comes to dark romance. Adeline has had a terrible childhood. Left an orphan in her teens, she has gone wild, but little does she know she has a stalker, or guardian angel of sorts keeping her safe. Ari is an assassin, has an obsession with Adeline. He is going to do whatever it takes to keep her safe, killing in the wake of danger, and helping her find her true self. After a sham of a marriage, these two finally meet, and Adeline gets the chance to see just how captivated she has made this dangerous man. With his partner, Lincoln, the two constantly have eyes on her. And they watch her blossom. Lily White creates a world with these dark men, Ari in particular that you want to love, but also hate. He is controlling and selfish, but there is something about him that makes him endearing. Adeline is also a touch character to love. She is damaged, and her journey to finding herself is like a car accident. You have to slow down and look at it! It's addicting. If you are a lover of dark romance, this is the book you want. Lily White is definitely a master at capturing the darkness and our hearts.

Ada Sinclair and James Cassidy are a fantastic team! Sinclair plays the somewhat bratty Adeline, giving us the nuances of her damaged soul. She is full of the emotional pull I love in a dark story, wanting to love, but can't help but hate her captor. The conflict is easily felt. Cassidy is incredible with his dark rendition of Ari and Lincoln. He commands our attention, lets us grab the darkness and has no apology for not showing us the light. I loved these two together. Fabulous!

Ari is my kinda stalker. He’s savage and Semi Psycho behavior it’s out of this world.

I bought this title on sale and it was worth what I paid for it. It has a little mystery and a couple of twists. Plenty of sexy times. Not a bad listen.

This book was one of my dark Oct reads. It’s is a steamy stalker romance and I DEVOURED it!!! Couldn’t put it down! Ari was always watching and I love that he would go to ANY lengths to protect Adeline! He saved her from herself and others countless times. It’s interesting how in his line of work, she was the biggest danger in his life. I really loved watching their relationship develop and grow over the course of the book. The story was fantastic, the dialogue was great and the love scenes were super 🌶🔥🌶!!!

Hot! His voice was perfect, hers…not so much

…And I’m not being a brat thinking her voice should sound like mine lol; but she’s supposed to be a sultry sex kitten while in reality she sounds like her name is Rain, makes bad pottery and doesn’t shave anything lol. Fight me. Ari’s voice was perfectly cast in my opinion. Sounded arrogant, invincible, strong, and like he could get you *there* with just a look or two. His faux voices for other characters were believable as well. Unlike hers. Sorry girl. Not to hate!
As for the book, it’s a very hot page turner. The sex was all fun and horny for a strong minded woman that needs a dom in bed.
P.s. if I ever hear “poor little Adeline” again ill pass out from irritation.
