Good, but with warning

This was very well written and further enhanced by excellent narration. When I first started listening, I wasn’t sure it was for me. The scenes it described were in detail and I though...come on already, I don’t need this much background and detail. I was wrong. What happened next could very easily cause triggers to flip in some people. There is a very difficult scene that I quite frankly had to skip and come back to later. I literally cried (cried!) through three chapters. There is an event, a breakup, parent with no compassion, a reawakening of strength, a reunion, a great enduring love, a big mystery solved on why events happened the way they did (I did Not see it coming). It’s a really good book and the narration really was right on cue. This is an excellent story written extremely well. Audible is a must have. Sex scenes are descriptive and describe feelings as well as activity. I recommend this if you are ready for an emotional rollercoaster.

Not for everyone to read very intense

For me this story was intense and trigger Warning.
It less smut for me cuz all of the detailed trauma that happens in the story.
If your looking for something sexy and Spicy this story ain’t it.

Wow...just wow! I am in love!

I've listened/read a LOT of books, and I thought I had my favorites... then I read/listened to this! OMG! Tad Branson...stirs my soul and (panties) as the narrator of Jake.
This was something! Don't miss it!

I won’t lie… This book started off really rough but once you get past the setup that is entirely necessary and extremely traumatic it’s amazing!

Pam writing was lovely and the story was gripping, spicy and full of action. The mystery that she writes in to keep you interested was very well done!

The performance was lovely and honestly I like these two so much I’m off to hunt down more they narrated.

I loved the setup for the next two books and I’m starting book two today!

Not was expected so much better

This book is not what you expected. when I first saw the cover, I thought spicy cowboy romance. Wow was I wrong. This book was so much better than I expected. The story was full of plot twists, secrets, betrayals and trauma that would be hard for anyone to get over. Conor and Jake were always meant to be until Conor 16th birthday everything in their world changed and not for the better. When a brutal attack happens, and the pact is made things will never be the same. for years everything seems to just exist no one is living anymore. They have lost everything and everyone that they care about and for what, secrets that lay on the ranch. Will Jake and Conor every get back to what they should have been and can he keep her safe from a distance. This book was a wild ride and will keep you captivated and pulled in from start to finish. Can't wait to move on to the next book
